So I am wondering about the yahoo, google, and other bots on this site. How fast do these bots pick up the scams that are posted regularly on here? Just wondering.

Also, I am glad that my postings are finally paying off, and keeping others from being the next potential victim! removed link :oh-joy: 8)

Sorry Breakwind, the person who posted in the thread was a forum spammer, his only purpose in posting was to promote his mobile phone business.

There is reason to believe that most people who are helped by our posts here do not reply in the threads, dont feel bad, if you haven't already helped somebody directly you soon will.

BTW, I have identified some fake sites in some of your posts which I have subsequently reported and had closed, that does save victims ;)

In answer to your question, the bots can take anywhere between 2 minutes and 2 days to pick up a post here, I have no idea why it is faster sometimes than others, its just the way it is and I have learnt to accept it  :D

You can see the kind of interest the Search Index Bots take in this site by looking at bottom of the Main Board Index Page. You can see which Bots are there by name, and at any one time you will find at least one or two.

In the early days of this site, when the level of activity was low in comparison with today's traffic, it would sometimes take up to a week for changes to be reflected in Web Searches. As already pointed out, these days it is considerably quicker.
