A new stwist on this scam is that they are now targeting international students with a fake scholarship award using big name foundations that really exist but do not have scholarship programs. By using special hacker software email arrives from email address like google.com and yahoo.com and microsoft.com and the only way you can tell it is a scam is to look at the "reply to" address. Many of these scholarship scams are just phishing for personal information to sell to identity thieves. Beware!
