Is this a romance scam? Olga Viktorova from Russia...

since 13 aug 2009 i got a request from Olga from saint petersburg..
Till last week i had really nice correspondence with her,and she seems to be really honest person,with modest pictures she sended me from herself.. just normal pictures
Further i can't find her anywhere on google... Her account is made on 13 aug 2009 the day i got the first email..

Anyone from Russia want to call her for me? Just to know she is real... I can't connect by phone.. i tried many ways... but get a russian opperator on the phone...

Read the letters as i put them here,and give me some advice what to do.. as i am not able to contact her by phone ,and she cannot call me from Russia as her provider only gives her option to call only in Russia...

2 ) Using google search I found no results for "NASTA Insurance Company St Petersburg"

3 ) I am confused because "Olga/Olyenka" seems unaware of double use concerning Pavlovsk.
a ) Claims to have been born in Pavlovsk in Leningrad oblast (region), northwestern Russia
b ) Also claims to live in Pavlovsk, a town under the jurisdiction of Saint Petersburg.

4 ) I have noted many similarities with this scammers mails on this site;

I don't think there is any doubt, this is a scammer, No genuine person ever needs a mass mailer program, they simply don't have use for one.. 99.% of Russian scammers ether use ''The Bat or Voyager"
Please don't get emotionally involved with this person. I know it's hard but keep reminding yourself and looking at the mass mailer program. These people are very,very good at what they do,
I've been involved with baiting them for a good while, But I still have to remind myself at times, These people can be very convincing , at telling you what you want to hear. Also your probably talking to a man, who begs to talk to you by phone, knowing a connection is not possable.

Also please be careful what personal information you give them..
You could go for months with the softing up process before a money request comes along,, But trust me, It will.

You might also find your getting the odd strange e-mail from people you have never heard of, Telling you how happy they are to have met you, on such and such a personal site. Again check the headers, The Bat will be there, somewhere..

The easiest way to check if there genuine is to request something specific, like a photo, or a question about there family, or there work. Scripted replies don't answer question's You might find that the first few lines will attempt to answer your questions [ in very bad English] and the rest is a scripted reply. [word perfect English]
Some of these people have a huge collection of stolen photo's others only have a few, So ask to see something with a monument or a bridge in the background. You might need to do a bit of research for this.. Or does she have a little black dress, etc.. The chances are she will ignore your requests, simply because she /he doesn't have the required photo in there collection.

As the others have said and for all those reasons stated and a couple more, this is a scammer, there is no doubt, the big clincher is use of "The Bat" which normal Russian girls seeking a relationship do not use.

Those with experience will also notice the use of translation software which produces some unusual results to say the least.

Then, there is the money request, I haven't done any searching myself but I do know that The Enchantress is very thorough so I wont try searching myself, especially seeing as there is plenty of proof right here.

Please stop all communication immediately and we may just be able to give more information in a couple of days

Visas and paperwork are common excuses

While I think of it, could you also post that phone number, searches on it may reveal some truth, if not now it will later for somebody else

I wish you hadn't deleted it's e-mail address from the headers. Can't do much if we can't con-tact it.

An E-mail address, can tell us a lot. But it's also a good indicater to others who might be contacted, While they do change there photo's they rarely change there e-mail address.

This one's a bit strange,, It seems to be quite happy working multiple identities, Please remember, to check with the list of E-mail address and names posted earlier. Even her scripts are different. Which makes it even harder. But she's using the same bulk mail service program

So please if your not sure about one of these people , always check for a mass mailer program FIRST If your not sure how to access the e-mail headers . Please ask..
