Asks victims to pay for leave for him

POLICY AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR LEAVE REQUESTS

1. Returning officer requesting leave should have a reasonable motive for applying for leave.
2. Vacations and short periods of rest from duty, as well as authorized absences to attend to emergency situations at home shall be considered.
3. Returning officer applying for leave will be liable to receive some amount of money as leave bonus and this can be claimed by his/her beneficiary if there is a mutual agreement to this effect.
4. Short period of leave can be requested by a soldier to attend to his private affairs and family as long as the reasons are genuine.
5. Maximum leave period obtainable to a soldier on deployment is 3 months.
6. All soldiers leaving the camp on a family or spouse request should have a liberty pass card with them at departure and arrival points, identification Card shall suffice to identify a service number on authorized classified leave.
7. Paid leave should only be granted to soldiers who are eligible for leave, unpaid leave to the non-eligible soldiers under any kind of condition.
8. Returning officer will be liable to leave to his designated country 72 hours after all processing is completed.
9. Spouse or family must pay all neccesary charges accordingly.
10. The spouse or family must attend to the charges that will have to be payed during the processing of the leave request.
11. Section 701f, title 10, United States Code (10 USC 701f) provides special leave accrual to Soldiers who meet the
criteria in this section.
12. Soldiers will be briefed on requesting a leave extension prior to departing on leave.
