All you have to do is put a line or two from the email text in a google search and it comes up all over the place! Sucks!
Scary thing is that it also still shows up as a legitimate casting call on many sites as well!

well i was checking out how to spot scam and obviously these are all scams don't give them your information for they may use identity theft and manage your bank account and disappear with your money... But if they send you a fake check you will take it to your bank and withdraw it from your account and hold that the money may never get there so you actually take your money and they may ask that you give the stylist what is left so you paid them real money and they gave you fake money ...after hundreds of people doing this they will get cash in their pockets.
those lazy goons can't work for real hard earned cash... I haven't been scammed so i thank god for that.

There are linguistic anomalies in their writing that a native English speaker typically doesn't make.

The website indicates it is under construction, but was registered for only one year.

This is a scam. It is best to not send copies of passports or other identifying information to requests on the internet. As you have done, so some research to protect your self. Ask here if you are in doubt.

Sadly many modeling jobs are scams or designed to take money from people with dreams of being a model. If it sounds too good to be true it is most likely a scam.

So I didn't think much of it, and send my photos and measurements etc. I got a check in the mail. For me, and my husband.About $2800 each! It was way more than what we had discussed. From here I was really skeptical since we received 2 packages, and they weren't even sealed shut. It is like he wanted someone to steal them, and cash them. SO -- I talked with my husband, and said we'd wait to cash them until after the shoot. Then I searched his name, and couldn't find much. SO I searched everything I could, and couldn't find anything on him. Not even a modeling agency. So I copied part of the email and searched. I came to this site. Thank goodness I found this! I didn't cash the checks, I am going to shred them.

So I sent him all my info and my pictures, what do you think I should do? Will they do anything with my info???

alright so its been established that this is a scam but if you gave this guy your address and measurements etc like he asked but he doesn't have any bank account information, am i at risk for identity theft or am i okay? is the only scam if you actually cash the check? because now i'm nervous that my identity will be stolen :/

That information is easily available anyway. You might receive a few more scams targeted directly at you, but other than that, I wouldn't worry too much.
