Received two similar emails today from different addresses [email protected] and [email protected], both being about the same scam. Here's one of them:
=====================

========================

As you can see, the same clues pointing at scam: mistakes in the text, some nonexistent company pretending to be well-known, no details about it, no proper beginning (who this person is, where they found my email, his/her position, contact details), no signature - nothing. And 30k/year fixed salary for some very simple work from home (judging by their "requirements"). By the way, no description of work or duties, too. In other words, a scam which is too obvious.

Admin note:
This post was made by a scammer who is either cocky or clueless enough to believe that he could fool an anti-scam community with his lies. We have left this post intact to show you how low scammers will go to take advantage of innocent people. - Dotti

My name is Joseph and I have worked for the U.S. Shopping Helper for more than a year and I can not say anything bad about this company. Everything that has been written above seems to be groundless as that person did not even try to answer the email he received from the company and did not send the request for the information about it. Because if he requested, he would certainly change his opinion.

Welcome Joseph,

I do hope you like your new title - it is a much more accurate reflection of who you really are. I wonder if you are with the same scamming group that tried to send a fake "lawyer" to join us a couple of weeks ago?

To anyone reading this thread: Diamond's assessment was 100% accurate. The email in question is an attempt to recruit an unsuspecting person into becoming a reshipping mule. What you would actually be doing is receiving merchandise purchased with stolen credit cards and forwarding it to the thieves overseas.

In the end, the only thing you are likely to gain from such a "job" is a criminal record.

Joesph or anyone else that has worked for this company before, did you have any trouble when getting your pay?
  by Dotti

Shanna,

I'm not sure how to make it any more clear. There is not a legitimate company. A "job" receiving and forwarding merchandise to other countries is a scam. It is offered by criminals, who are looking to use you to help them obtain stolen merchandise. They are putting you in a position to be arrested.

They are NOT real employers.

They have no more intention of making legitimate payments to their "employees" than they do of paying back all of the people whose credit cards they stole in order to get all of the merchandise.

If you have been receiving and forwarding packages for them, you need to consider being proactive about filing a police and/or postal inspector report.

Welcome to Scamwarners shanna53,

Joseph is the scammer that is using people to forward stolen property. Look at Dotti's post above. Look at Joseph's title.

The scammer wants you to receive stolen merchandise and send it to him or his buddies. The scammer is using stolen credit cards to purchase items.

The scammer will never get caught. You will be caught. When the credit card holder realizes that their credit card was used fraudulently. They will contact the bank. Through an investigation your name and address will be the only evidence. You will get a visit from your local police.

Do not forward any packages and stop communicating with the scammer. Contact your local police. Tell them what has occurred, show them the emails and file a report. Also contact the sender and send the packages back(get a receipt).

Well i just feel really stupid, i have been sending packages out for this fake company since early may. i have all the paperwork of the packages i got and if they had a recipte included in the orginal box. What should i do now?
  by vonpaso xlura

Don't tell the scammer you quit. Refuse any further packages. Call the police and the shipping company. Print out all emails from the scammer, with complete headers, and take them to the police. Do not tell the scammer that you know he's a scammer; just stop saying anything to him.

I checked the site out. It's fake all right. It's in the process of being reported for fraud.

ETA: The scammers are probably in Russia, as one hoster is in the Altai and the other in Siberia. They are certainly not in St. Louis, as anyone who lives there can easily verify.

Hello, I just started working for U.S. shopping helper and recieved my first packages and then sent them out this morning. Following I found your site and called the police and filled a police report. The officer said there is not anything he can do about it and just stop working with them. Is there anything else I need to do
  by vonpaso xlura

Yes. Please post the emails here, with complete headers, so that we can kill any fake domain involved.

Thank you for the information about the fedex package. I have checked
it from our side and found that the client refused this tent. So it's
okay and the item is closed. I will delete it from the control panel
later.

Have a nice day, Oc!
