I was in Denver about 6months ago and had a nanny for the him along West Colfax Avenue but she moved to Canada with her mother. I will like to meet you on (27th of July, 2014) evening so we can talk about the kid-fun activities i will be interested in getting to know you. We could meet at the McDonald's close to you if that work for you. I once booked a nanny and on arrival she told me she got another job which was a big disappointment. For this reason, I will like to commit you by paying (DEPOSITING) you for the first week of your service before our arrival to secure the date so i can be absolutely sure of having you care for Jason to enable things go perfectly without disappointment. I am planning on having the wheelchair seller deliver it to you immediately after payment so you can have it ready for Jason on arrival since the seller lives in North Carolina. Hope that isn't problem? I will be looking forward to your email to ensure we are on the same page.

WHO makes up a sick story like this? Its disturbing for college kids to be victims. Unfornantly i realized it before it got any further. I reported it to the police but should i be worried about them having my information from my resume or my address

Thanks

From her writing, it is obvious that she (or he) is African. She claims to be deaf, because if you talked with her on the phone, it would be obvious that she is not American. The scammer, being African, is unlikely to try identity theft, and the information on a résumé should be insufficient to do so. All he wants is to trick people into giving him money.

I recently got the same email. First the woman texted my phone . I have a profile up on care .com A woman by the name of Sarah Simpson emailed me offering $400 weekly for babysitting he two kids and one is in a wheelchair she then proceeded to asking me for certian personal information like my name adress ,zip code and phone number . She already had my cellphone number though considering she sent me a text message. Overall she is a scam and watch out cause this email doesn't even make any sense.

Hello Eboni

Thanks for your response, I am glad to read from you. I am a single Mother of two, David and Kelvin, they are 6 and 1+ years respectively. I attended Texas School for the Deaf where I achieved my highest qualification. I have my own business (Self Employed). I attend the catholic. We are in the process of relocating to your area. I am 39 and I am hard of hearing. I work based on the development and counseling of the deaf people in the community, I am moving to your area in few weeks and I really need a honest and responsible care for my kids.

More importantly, David is currently placed on a wheelchair due to an accident he had some months ago. He can walk a few distance though but the specialist advised he uses the chair for a while and I am planning on getting him a powered wheelchair and have contacted a seller. You will care for kids starting 24th of Aug. I will appreciate if you can tell me a few things about yourself and maybe attach one or two pictures of you, below are your duties:

Cooking for the kids
Caring for the Kids
Cleaning the kids

This could be a temporary/permanent job. It depends on what your schedule looks like but I do like to be sure if you are available the first month. I made some research on the wages for your service and I have decided to start with $400 per week and as time goes on we can negotiate on a new pay as my kids get along with you. I want to inform you that I have a seminar i will be attending to as soon as i arrive and will be having an interview section with you immediately i arrive with my kids. Also i will like to include your pay to our payroll for the period just to have you booked down and secure for my kids. I will be needing the following information below to issue out the check to you and i need your direct mobile number so i can text you in case i need to pass an urgent information:

Name:
Address:
City:
State:
Zip Code:
Phone #:

I have made some arrangements with the wheelchair seller, so as soon as you get the payment, you will deduct $400 for your first week and have the rest sent to the wheelchair seller for delivery as soon as the check clears, i hope my kids will have the best of time while they are in your care, attached is a picture of me, David and Kelvin. Get back to me as i have a lot of issue to put in place prior to my arrival. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you and God bless,
Mrs Simpson

Thank you for posting!

Is she still using the same email address or did it come from a different one this time? Would you mind sharing what number she texted you from? It could help warn others.
