SMART JACK RUSSELS is a family run kennel hosted by myself, Donald and my wife Linda. Our kennel specialises in show quality JACK RUSSELL. Our mission is to help preserve our beloved breed, the Jack Russell Terrier, and to breed healthy, happy and beautiful dogs as close to the AKC Jack Russell Terrier standard as possible. We have bred and owned Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show winners, as well as dogs that have achieved National Club recognition and Awards at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club. Many of our puppies, dogs and veterans have had multiple Specialty wins. We have bred many Champions and Grand Champions and as well as titling our dogs in Obedience and Rally.
Finding the perfect home for a puppy is no joke so we carefully and diligently choose owners according to whether they want to purchase a puppy for shows or to keep as pets.
The primary focus of our breeding program is to breed for soundness in health and temperament. Every dog in our breeding program receives an annual eye clearance by a Board Certified Canine Opthamologist. In addition, the dogs are cleared for hip dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation of America and must rate excellent or good to be a part of our breeding program. Our dogs are first and foremost our family! They reside in the house and spend lots of time running, playing and hanging out in our yards. Puppies are whelped in a bedroom and raised with lots of attention and family involvement. Socializing puppies is a task that we take very seriously.
SMART HUSKIES is an AKC Breeder of Merit. We are proud members of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America and as CPAs, we head the Club’s Audit Committee. In addition, we are approved Mentors for our National Club, which allows us to help educate individuals interested in judging the Jack Russell Terrier. `We are members and Officers of our local breed club, the Jack Russell Terrier Club and we and participate in stewarding at local shows. We have judged Sweepstakes at Jack Russell Terrier Specialties and matches. We strongly believe that it is very important to give back to this sport and to our wonderful breed, both of which has given us so much joy.

Purchase Procedure
1. We respond to all inquiries within 24 hours with gratitude and 100% attention.
2. We answer your questions, provide professional guidance, screen the breeders, select the best puppies of the litter and assure they are healthy and up to our expectations which are not less than yours.
3. Full payment is required prior to shipping. Give yourself at least 2 business days before the expected arrival day to make sure we receive your payment in time to process all required documents and health checks.
4. We book the flight for a Monday, Wednesday or a Friday. Let us know which day is more convenient for you. Once the flight arrangements are made you will be informed and there on wards, you will be able to track your puppy through the shipping agent’s website.
5. We ship puppies as soon as they are allowed to travel depending on the destination country’s regulation. Normally, it is between twelve to seventeen weeks of age. If necessary, we will hold your puppy longer at no cost to you.
6. We sell registered puppies only. All our puppies are registered and come with pedigree/registration paper. In case you wish to transfer it to your local kennel club, please request the export pedigree ($75 ). Give us the name and address you want on the papers.

Therefore, your puppy is thoroughly checked by our licensed veterinarian a day or two before departure – we separate the puppies from their mothers and litter mates as late as possible to prevent separation anxiety and socialization problems. All your puppies documents are attached to crate and sent along with your puppy.
8. Please be waiting for your puppy at the airport at the given time. Usually the puppy is available 2 hours after the flight’s arrival time, and a valid ID such as passport or driver’s license is needed to verify the identity of the receiver. We can equally arrange for home delivery if need be (Usually cost between $30-50 USD) We really appreciate knowing that the pup has arrived safely and at home with you, so please email as soon as you get the chance. III) Once we receive your inquiry, an agent will contact you within 24 hours Max. to confirm that your puppy has been put on hold if you wish to purchase at a later date (seven days Max) or provide you your puppy’s lifetime satisfaction guarantee and an invoice if you wish to purchase immediately.
IV) we will within 2 business days of receiving payment, confirm your order, process all required paperwork, have our license veterinarian perform last minute routine checkup on your puppy and book the flight for a Monday, Wednesday or Friday (You may indicate which day suites you best).
