If they require you to pay money to get a job, it's a scam. I have paid money to go to a job interview, but it was to a taxi company, and the company reimbursed me.

The geography contains places in haphazard order, a place inside a place inside a place, and a misspelling such that I can't tell which of two places they mean. I've seen the exact same misspelling on trucks, where a drawing of a bird is paired with the name of a mammal. A travel company making such errors strikes me as incompetent.

Also, no legitimate business uses a free Yahoo email address.

There is no job, they just want to scam you by charging you for a non-existent visa.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Thanks a lot for all the advises and Info.
Appreciate so so much here.
Well, he asking to pay the cash money for the government Seaman Pass and Marine Passport, and also attending Marine Safety Class and Basic knowledge. And get a Marine Safety Certificat. After you get all this done, you need to apply Marine Visa as well ,and also passport with flight ticket to New York and report yourself on Cruise. Total amount will be made by US Dollar which is Roughly around RM8000. But what makes me worried was the hotel of interviewer are in
Kuala Lumpur Amada Hotel. And this Amada Hotel are more to escort business.Because next to Amada Hotel, there's a private club on the 3rd floor, which they always bringing the girls to Amada Hotel for extra service after those PR girls off from work, because they not allowed to have intimate service in the club but you can deal with the customer privately. One of my friend are working in that private club ,this is what she told me about the Amada Hotel and even ask me not to go for interview. So what you guys think about it?

Don't go to the interview. It's a scam.

If I understand right, he's asking you to pay for a "marine passport" (never heard of such a thing)? Pay to whom? How (check, WU, bank transfer)? How much is it in US dollars? I'm pretty sure more of us (I'm American, but others who hang around here live in other parts of the world) know how much the American dollar is worth than the Malaysian ringgit.
