Scams offering fake Au Pair positions
#184372 by AlanJones Sun Dec 15, 2013 9:56 am
This is an au pair fake job scam. There is no job, just a scammer looking to steal your money.

Dear Au pair,

It is great to hear
from you and we pray eventually you will join our family. We are in
dire need of someone who can come into our home and take good care of
our daughter and most especially give her special attention. We need
someone charismatic and who is wonderful with children. An Au pair who
will love our little angel exactly the way we do. We love having fun
and we are positive you will enjoy the experience in our home.
We live in a spacious lovely home in London, United
Kingdom. My wife used to take care of Lucy but since she started work
a few months ago we decided to put her in day care. But we are not
really comfortable with the day care center arrangement, we need
someone who will be able to see to Lucy's immediate needs and give her
special attention. So that is why we contacted you. Although we have a
babysitter who comes by a couple days a week we need someone with more
experience and who can give our daughter the care she needs and who
will love her just the way we do.
However due to our tight job schedules we do not always have time to
be there for her. So we basically need you to take care of her for a
few hours till we return. London is a lovely city full of life and we
are positive you will love it here.

We will pay for all document and travel expenses. Kindly send us your
resume and recent pictures of you so we may know more about you and
perhaps some of the work you have done and if satisfied we will
clarify you more about the more important details and working
conditions including your salary and other matters before finally
sending you a contract letter to make you an official and legal member
of our small but nice family.

Regards to you and your family and we hope to hear from you. All the best.

God bless.

Warmest Regards,
Gnarby Family

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

How are you? We hope this mail meets you in good health and your
family is doing well. We are very glad you could get back to us with
information about yourself. My wife and I will take sometime to
discuss and we will let you know what we decide eventually. We have
full confidence you will love and care for our child just as we do and
we know the two of you will get along well. We hope you will be a part
of our family soon and get to know us better and also share
experiences with us.

We like your pictures especially Lucy.

We would like to clarify you some more;

We live in a four (4) bedroom house at 18 Lyndhurst Gardens NW35NR,
London United Kingdom. Our residence is very open and in the city and
there are other Au pairs close by. In the area there is a pub full of
young people, there is also a bus stop outside our house with city
center. We also have parks, cinemas, restaurants, malls, etc around. So it
will be easy to make friends and go places.

We will require you to take good care of Lucy and see to her needs for
approximately 30hrs a week. You will generally see to her immediate
needs and clean up after her. You will have weekends free and be
entitled to all holidays and we will pay you GBP 500 (British pounds)
PER week and a total amount of 2000GBP Monthly. You will also be paid
extra for any additional time added to the agreed time.

You will have your own bedroom and your own bathroom either live in or
out fully furnished, with a desk phone and computer system with
internet.

We are looking for someone to muck up and help out generally as any
member of the family would. You will need to babysit a couple of times
a week and also be happy about us popping back to work in the evening
if you are at home anyway. We need someone to be flexible - as we will
be if you would like to take time off if your family visits or you
have a holiday. When we go on holiday as a family you will usually be
welcome but we can also arrange for you to stay home if you prefer.

We will also be shouldering all document and travel expenses.

However we would like to ask a few key questions and we need you to
answer very honestly and positively.

1) What are your aims and objectives in life?

2) What kind of person are you( your likes and dislikes)?

3) How do you intend to impact positively in my daughter's life?

4) Do you possess any physical impairment we ought to know about?

Have you ever been married? Do you have a child/children?

Kindly answer these questions and get back to us as soon as possible.

We hope to hear from you soon and our warmest regards to you and your
family. Lucy sends her best and wishes you well in all you do.

God bless.

Best Wishes,
Gnarby Family

How have you been? Hope you and your family are in perfect health and
we pray this mail meets all of you well.

Anyway we would just like to inform you that we have finished all
discussions and we have finally agreed that you will be our daughter's
Au pair. We strongly believe and have confidence that you will do a
great job with her and love and care for her like we do. She is also
very excited you will come soon and play with her.

We have already given the barrister strict instructions to prepare a
contract letter containing the working conditions and terms of
agreement and as soon as she does we will send it you.

But we would like to at least hear from you and know if this is okay
with you. We hope to hear from you soon and all the best to you and
your family.

God bless.
