1. Commencement
This contract will begin from date of acceptance by Aupair and will continue until terminated as set out in clause 4.

3. Job description
3.1 Job Title AUPAIR
3.2 Duties
a. Taking Care of the Children.

3.3 Travel Expenses:

3.4 Any other expenses by the Aupair towards travelling will be paid by Aupair who is then to be refunded completely after providing the original receipt of the expenses.
4. Termination of employment
Only Aupair can terminate this contract, notice may be given by the Aupair verbally or in writing without need for any excuse and Aupair is not liable to refund any payment for any reason.
5. Wage
5.1
The Aupair’s wage shall be paid in cash on the last working day of every week, the total sum of £388 GBP.

6. Hours of work
6.1 Normal working hours will be 30 hours per week from Mondays to Fridays.
6.2 Weekends are free and work is not allowed.
6.3 The Aupair will be paid for overtime at the rate of one and a half times his/her total wage as set out in clause 5.
7. Meal Intervals
The Host Family agrees to provide complete daily meal at least three times daily. Aupair must be served same food for the family.
8. Sunday work
Any work on Sundays will be by agreement between the parties from time to time.
If the Aupair works on a Sunday he/she shall be paid double the wage for each hour worked.
9. Public Holidays
The Aupair will be entitled to all official public holidays on full pay.
If an Aupair does not work on a public holiday, he/she shall receive normal payment for that day.
If the Aupair works on a public holiday he/she shall be paid double.
10. Annual Leave
10.1 The Aupair is entitled to 2 days paid leave every month. Such leave is to be taken at times convenient to the Aupair.
11. Sick leave
11.1 Aupair is entitled to full medical care to be paid for by the Host Family.
11.2 During the first six months of employment the Aupair will entitled to one day’s paid sick leave for every 26 days worked.
11.3 The Aupair is to notify the Host Family as soon as possible in case of his/her absence from work through illness to enable Host Family to provide the money for medical expenses.
12. Maternity leave
12.1
The Aupair will be entitled to 4 months maternity leave with full pay; or
12.2
The Aupair will be entitled to 2 months maternity leave with double pay
13. Family responsibility leave
The Aupair will be entitled to complete family responsibility leave during each weekend. This means that Aupair is not required to do any work during the weekend.
14. Deductions from remuneration:
The Host Family may not deduct any monies from the Aupair’s wage unless the Aupair has agreed to this in writing on each occasion. Host Family is responsible for payment of all taxes and utility bills of the Aupair
15. Accommodation
15.1
The Aupair will be provided with accommodation for as long as the Aupair is in the service of the Host Family.
15.2
The accommodation may only be occupied by the Aupair, unless prior arrangement with the Host Family.
15.3
Prior permission should be obtained for visitors who wish to stay the night. However where members of the Aupairs direct family are visiting, such permission will not be necessary.
16. Clothing
New working clothes will be supplied to the Aupair on a monthly basis by the Host Family and will remain the property of the Aupair.
17. General
Any changes to this agreement will only be valid if they are in writing and have been agreed and signed by both parties.
