This is a conference scam where the scammer tries to make you sign in to a non exsistent conference, offering free air travel, but will ask you to pay for your hotel accommodation. Of course, the hotels the scammer wants you to stay are fake, and the money for the reservation will disappear into the pocket of the scammers. The website the scammers are using is fake too. We are working on that.

The Canadian government does not use yahoo for email. It looks like there may also be a "visa fees" element to this scam as well. For visitors unfamiliar with this type of scam, the "government" address is another one owned by the scammers, who will send the victim forms, demand passport scans (which the scammers can then use in future scams) and require fees for visas and various "travel documents." Since the Canadian government is not involved, in reality no passports or visas are being acquired.
