Hotelgate24.com is a large accommodation reservation company based in Germany (check their website). They are supposed to provide a booking service for people looking for accommodation in all parts of the world. They have a sister company in the USA. At present they are in financial difficultiees and as such are collecting advance payments from people looking for hotel accommodation through their website and then they keep the money and make no reservation at all! Attempts to recover your money are useless as they know that legal action from a foreign country is costly and as such ignore your requests for a refund. Please do not use their services or you will lose your money. I lost 1650 Euros recently.
