Both parties agree to terms of the transaction, which includes a description of the item, sale price, number of days for the Buyer's inspection and any other information. After all terms are discussed and agreed by all parties, the Buyer must Register with HillShip ​​​Trading Company and start a transaction. After all the information requested in the Registration Form are submitted, HillShip ​​​Trading Company will analyze them and after the we confirm that they are accurate, HillShip ​​​Trading Company will send an invoice to the Buyer with the transaction details and payment instructions. The registration is free.

Step 2: HillShip Trading Corporation Transactions Sends Merchandise


HillShip ​​​Trading Company start the shipping process and will notify you by email about any change or progress of the transaction. HillShip ​​​Trading Company verifies that the Buyer has received the shipment.

Step 3: 10 Days Money Back Guarantee

When the item is received, the Buyer has a 10 Days Money Back Guarantee available to verify if the item is exactly as described. During this period the Buyer have the option to accept or reject the merchandise. If the item is not as expected, we will return the item with no cost for the Buyer and will refund the payment in full. The Seller will be responsible for all the fees if that is the case. If the item is received as expected and accepted, we will send the payment to the Seller and make the necessary paperwork so we can close the transaction. The inspection period starts when the item is delivered.

The original store opened in 315 21st Ave S, Great Falls, MT 59405, 2003 to help people sell their quality merchandise in the Geebo marketplace and later in 2008 we extended our market in Canada and United Kingdom and on Classified Sites (Craigslist, Oodle and Geebo). HillShip ​Trading Company Transactions was co-founded by Patrick Selvage and Jarvis Gross in December, 2003. David and Doug had both recently finished their landscaping seasons, and and were pondering what the future had in store. They were buying and selling on Geebo just for fun when a mutual friend stopped by one day and asked them to sell some musical equipment for him. He offered them a percentage of the sales, and after several successful Geebo listings and a few dollars in their pockets the idea was born.

HillShip ​Trading Company Transactions was started with a $400 investment and a $10 ad in The Seven Days local weekly newspaper. That first spring and summer every weekend was spent at garage sales searching for items to sell on Geebo. The Company has now sold millions of dollars worth of merchandise on all major classified and auction sites, and runs one of the largest drop-off stores in the country. In 2007 alone, the Company sent over $200,000 worth of checks to all sellers.

The first HillShip ​Trading Company Transactions employee, Kevin Allaire, was hired in January, 2005 to write auctions and perform client intakes, and a second employee was added in May, 2005 to pack and ship boxes. Over the years the Company has fine tuned their consignment system, streamlined store operations, and developed a custom software program.

Dealing on classified Sites

Although we sell on Geebo, Oodle or Craigslist, these marketplaces are different. Craigslist does not have listing fees, templates to choose from and the listings last between 7 and 45 days. The add placed on Craigslist or Oodle has a fixed price, so you can not bid on it, the price is the one listed and it usually is negotiable. On most cases the shipping fees are already included in the price of sale. That makes our selling policy different.
