New site, registered less than a month ago, for one year. Bad sign.

Domain Name: NEWSMATIC7ONLINE.COM
Registrar: INTERNET.BS CORP.
Whois Server: whois.internet.bs
Referral URL: http://www.internet.bs
Name Server: NS-CANADA.TOPDNS.COM
Name Server: NS-UK.TOPDNS.COM
Name Server: NS-USA.TOPDNS.COM
Status: clientTransferProhibited
Updated Date: 14-sep-2010
Creation Date: 14-sep-2010
Expiration Date: 14-sep-2011

Then I checked out what web of trust had to say:
http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/newsmatic7online.com

Might not be the typical fake site we deal with around here, but I definitely would stay far away from this one.

It's safe to say the one you posted above is NOT legit.

Odesk, however does appear to be legit:
Domain Name: ODESK.COM
Registrar: MARKMONITOR INC.
Whois Server: whois.markmonitor.com
Referral URL: http://www.markmonitor.com
Name Server: NS5.DNSMADEEASY.COM
Name Server: NS6.DNSMADEEASY.COM
Name Server: NS7.DNSMADEEASY.COM
Status: clientDeleteProhibited
Status: clientTransferProhibited
Status: clientUpdateProhibited
Updated Date: 28-jul-2009
Creation Date: 31-aug-2002
Expiration Date: 31-aug-2018

8 years old, registered long term.

However, legit simply means it's not a fake site. Sites can vary widely as far as quality goes, and even the top sites can contain scam offers, so you still want to be use caution with any online offer.
