Purchase overseas then customs wants "refundable" insurance

Trying to order product from a company I received the following emails. It is very obvious that these two companies are scams!

Zarovia Pharmaonline has a live chat (which is never live) that I keep leaving messages on telling them that I want my product or a refund. I have been doing this for two weeks now and have not gotten even one response. I am going to keep messaging them to try to get my money returned but at this point I do not think it is going to happen. If anyone is reading this please do not buy from them. They will give you the same delivery promises that they gave me and then not follow through. Now I am out a lot of money and it is not quite fair. It is my money considering I did not receive the product I ordered.

It is a scam. Your initial payment is lost. No amount of "insurance" will help. It will just be more money down the drain.

Even though they claim to have been in business since 2001 their website was created anonymously on 5th April 2017 for 1 year only.

so i bought some things from this dude in america but he seems friendly and legit asking to pay through friends and family paypal, i did it sadly and he sent the "package" using upsmailing.com
agent been contacting me and had the whole money gram bitcoin western union transfering, with the account from cameroon. they asked me to pay through paypal friends and family again, and i did it anyway with the whole refundable insurance. typical scammers. now they are threatening to bring the "package" up to custom. I lost a thousand usd and having it investigated on paypal, and my card completely cut off from the bank.
what else can I do? I dont care if I lose the money? but just want to make sure, this is just a scam right? and there is no "package"? this part is the part i need a good verification because yea.
and all of the communication is through whatsapp? please dont make same mistakes. if anyone can advice me on this please do, I am very lost and just need assurance.

they have used encrypted message on whastapp. there is no other contact.
i asked which delivery company he went through and he said UPS. but doubt it.
i cant find the message anymore since I deleted the messages, report and blocked them.
its the basic "you have to pay the insurance to ensure package gets stamp and pass on without custom"
they threatens when I dont pay.
they said I'll get a claim code, and I did, and that package will be delivered on tuesday but doubt it.
lost 1200 usd, cant contact, so i looked this up.

The package doesn't exist. The whole thing is a scam.

If the package was sent then there would be a tracking ID and it would be trackable on the UPS website.
