We paid them a deposit for 10MT worth of product, this never arrived, it didn't even get to the point of having our agents arrange collection of goods for sea freight.

Lies after Lies, followed by excuses and delays - never trust this company, they have taken our deposit and subsequently shut down their site, as well as all communication methods we had with them.

RAHMAN WHOLESALE AND RETAIL TRADING (this company was the one who referred us to Wachad Subsuwan in the first place, then cut all communication - it is my view they have done this to distance their fraudulent activities from Alibaba).

In summary, i would suggest never doing business with anyone related to the above.

Instead, only work with suppliers / exporters that will accept some kind of Trade Assurance deal in the first place (available with all reputable exporters on Alibaba).

We will, of course be fighting to recoup our losses, but we do not know to what end. Ultimately, we have learned a very expensive lesson here and i hope that sharing this information will perhaps help prevent scams of this nature from happening in the future.
