Who We Are

The Defense Courier Service (DCS), is established under the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), and is a global courier network for the expeditious, cost-effective, and secure distribution of highly classified and sensitive material. The division oversees and synchronizes activity of 18 courier stations world-wide With the rapid strides in technology and telecommunication, the world has shrunk to such an extent that what was unheard of or incommunicado has become possible. However technological advancements without effective backing ends, infrastructure, leave a wide gap in effective communication.

Incepted in the year 1953 with a sole mission of catering effective written messages, documents and cargo "Defense Courier Service” (DCS) have reached the pinnacle of being a truly professional courier company, having today the infrastructure for bulk cargo both nationally and internationally, with a strong work force and a network of offices spread globally.

DCS have come a long way in providing total solutions for a broad spectrum from individuals to leading Public Sector Undertakings, Government Bodies, Corporates, MNCs, Educational and Financial Institutions. Fraud Awareness

Fraudulent Use of the DCS Brand

Attempts have been made to defraud Internet shoppers by the unauthorized use of the DCS name and brand via email communications and graphics which appear, on the surface, to have originated from DCS.

In most cases the communications concern the sale of consumer goods over the Internet where payment may be requested before the goods are delivered.

Please be advised that DCS does not request payment in this manner. DCS only collects money due for official DCS related shipping expenses.

This security notice does not affect the obligation of a consignee to pay shipping, customs, VAT or similar charges, where these are properly payable at the time of delivery.

DCS accepts no responsibility for any costs, charges or payments made which were improperly incurred as a result of fraudulent activity.

If you are in any doubt as to the integrity of a website that uses the DCS brand, please always access DCS websites via our global website.

Spam and Viruses
Please be advised that if you received an email suggesting that DCS is attempting to deliver a package requesting that you open the email attachment in order to affect delivery, this email is fraudulent, the package does not exist and the attachment may be a computer virus.

Please do not open the attachment. This email and attachment does not originate from DCS.

The DCS name has been used in a series of fraudulent email scams, commonly referred to as "Phishing." One such email suggests that DCS is attempting to deliver a package and asks the recipient to open the email attachment in order to affect delivery. These emails are not authorized by DCS - their authors are only using the DCS name in their message to grab the user's attention and lend apparent legitimacy to the emails.

DHL recommends not opening the emails if identified as being "from" DCS, and one or more of the following is the case:
You have received an email without a tracking number and you are not doing business with DCS
The email has an attachment and you are not aware that you are doing business with DCS
The email instructs you to open an attachment for the tracking number

The recipient of a questionable email containing a tracking number can verify if a tracking number is valid by inserting the tracking number into the "Tracking Number" box. If there are no tracking results returned, it is not a valid tracking number and the email referencing the tracking number has not been sent by DCS.
