Micheal,

I apologize, my intention was to point out that TripAdvisor London Forum knows local details (price, location, etc.) that allows them to quickly spot a scam. When I said "check with them first", I meant before sending money on an apartment rental. I realize that you guys do a fantastic job and are enormously skilled at spotting and killing scam websites.

Not to worry, I definately didn't see your post as criticism towards us. You're completely right that people should do their research before sending any money to those rental ads. Tripadvisor knows things we don't, and vice versa. If people would check at least one of the two sites before making purchases I'm sure we could prevent a lot of people becoming victims.
