This particular email is a phishing attempt--the scammer wants you to enter your banking information into a fake website where he can collect your account information so he can steal from your account and/or sell your details to other thieves.

In the case of phishing, the best action to take is to forward the email to the company being impersonated, because they will be able to get the website taken down faster than anyone else. All major banks and credit card companies should have a designated address for this purpose, and it is posted on their real website. In the case of Chase, the best step is to forward it to [email protected] .
