to me
As I said earlier with that fake buyer and those notes I`m not really prepared to allow anyone else come near my house Here is how the process works through the money back guarantee program works.
I'm going to list it as a private auction on ebay and then send you the link, you will need to click on buy it now and just follow the instructions sent to you by ebay. As soon as they will confirm that to me I am going to start the delivery through shiply.com as ebay has instructed me. Once you receive it you have two options. Option 1: You will tell ebay I received it and its in perfect order the transactions is a success and I get my money, or option two but I don`t think you will use this one, you will contact ebay and tell them you can`t keep it. They will refund you the money and thats it. end of the deal.
Everything is covered by eBay. I will get paid only after you confirm that you received it. I just need your ebay id so I can send you the link through ebay.
Let me know if this is acceptable. Thank you

Recent scam attempt; I tried to get more details from our scammer without success. I'm just amazed he cannot be identified from bank details.

Last email received:
First of all i need your full details so i can contact Google wallet to start the transaction for us, they will email you all you need to complete this transaction.

Thanks Nigel, we’re ready to go. My bank (Lloyds) has just asked me for two things before we close the deal. Can you send me (email) some proof of your identity and proof of ownership of the campervan. Sorry to put you to this trouble but with this the bank will transfer the money first thing tomorrow. Cheers Peter

Hi Peter,

We can have a deal for £6000 but only if you agree the terms from my last email.
Because of our daily training i am not allowed to get out of the military base so i cannot deal cash in hand. This is the reason I chose to use Google Wallet because they work same like PayPal and we are both protected. Also You will have an inspection period of 10 days. In this time you can check, test and inspect the vehicle. If by any reason (the vehicle has any hidden damages or is not like I describe it) you can reject the deal. In this case Google Wallet will refund you totally and they will deliver the vehicle back to me on my cost.
So if you decide to go ahead let me know your full names and delivery details so i can start the transaction.

Nigel

Thanks Nigel. I’m really very excited by this. I shall fly into Douglas on Wednesday morning to meet you and see the car. I shall pay you in cash when I have seen all the docs. Luckily I have some business to do in IOM. I ll take the car with me so I expect a good discount for saving you delivery costs…can we agree £6000 cash on hand over at Douglas airport? Cheers Peter

From: Nigel Green [mailto:[email protected]]

Hi Peter,

As I've said in my previous email right now I am located in Isle of Man in a military base, getting ready for Mali. I'm doing a special training program each day and I am not allowed to get out of the unit or give calls whenever I want. The delivery will take 2 to 3 days depending on your location and it's not a problem because I can do it at no cost for you. Because it is a large transaction, we will complete the deal only using an authorized third part like Google Wallet because I already prearranged the whole process with them, using their Google Safe Pay Solutions (bank-to-bank wire transfer) for vehicles.

The money will be sent to Google Wallet, before you will receive the vehicle. So, you will deposit the payment directly into the Google Wallet agent's bank account in United Kingdom, either online or at most banks and they will hold and secure your money during the entire transaction. I repeat, they will hold and insure your money until receipt of the vehicle in good condition and will release the funds to us only after you decide to keep the vehicle and you register it, into your name. You will have an inspection period of 10 days. In this time you can check, test and inspect the vehicle. If by any reason (the vehicle has any hidden damages or is not like I describe it) you can reject the deal. In this case Google Wallet will refund you totally and they will deliver the vehicle back.
You can read more about Google Wallet here:

http://support.wallet.google.rcnrc.com/ ... #how-works

Let me know your shipping details (your full name, full address and home phone number) so I can open a transaction case with Google Wallet and declare you as buyer. They will contact you with further information regarding payment and delivery.

Regards,
Nigel Green,

Welcome to Scamwarners letsgetthem.

It could be worse. The UK government could delegate law enforcement to the Mafia. Judging by the scandal over UK visa extensions banks could be considered to be doing a good job over their delegated responsibility with regard to money laundering legislation, only the criminals find it laughably easy to circumvent it.

The honest truth is, that if these people exist, they are actually located at least a thousand miles away from the bank where their account is held and they are safe from prosecution. Having seen how the government has appointed accredited visa advisers who themselves supply fake documents to secure visa extensions, I wouldn't have any faith that the accounts were opened using anything but fake ID's and documents, in which case they cannot be traced, unless they try opening accounts under different names with the same branch.

Many of these regulatory systems are inter-dependent and once one dissolves in to a shambles, the others tend to dissolve into chaos too. Banks will take the matter seriously the first time one is taken for a large amount of money itself, and it will happen. UK criminals are easy to deal with as they live close by, not so with the current wave of fraudulent accounts. All you need to get a £1m mortgage is paperwork and if they got an account with forged ID that won't be a problem.

Autotrader UK are probably no worse than any other vehicle ad site but, that being the case, I wouldn't ever consider using one.

I specialise in going over the ads on that site and every day something in excess of 100 are posted and, if you're looking for a bargain, you'll get scammed unless you know what to watch out for. It's quite bizarre because the scammers have actually formalised an organised scamming process and, in spite of that, the site doesn't appear to have devised any method to keep them off. The scammers hack the same way, post the same adverts, in the same form even using the same email addressees and photos.

http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=82849

If they remain in place for 12 hours, with them replaced daily, a significant part of the site consists of scams and all of them being bargains, they're the most significant part. I presume that as long as advertisers keep paying fees they won't change anything.

Hi came across this site after emailing advert for campervan on 'Friday ad '
Was a bit suspicious about reply as normally a classified advert doesn't follow this format. This is first reply:
Hello
Its still for sale. Excellent condition with no damages or any faults. All necessary documents available. My current location is Scotland due to my work commitments, If this is going to be a quick sale I will let it go for £5,000 delivered at my costs. Are you familiar to eBay? I will list the motorhome on eBay Motors for £5,000 buy it now price and I will send you a link to my auction, so you can buy it immediate.
As soon as you will confirm the payment to eBay, I will proceed delivery without any additional costs for you.
In case you are not familiar with them, please read their Buyer Protection and will see that they cover 100% the transaction done through them up to £50,000. You will receive the motorhome with all documents. As you know eBay is the best company of online transactions. If indeed interested in it and have the funds, I will list it on eBay, as I have a 100% positive feedback with them.
Please let me know your decision.
Thank you

Alice

I then asked where and when I could view van this was 2nd reply:
Currently in Dundee, Scotland I am offering free delivery. Due to my location and since view is not an option I have requested personal support and I was approved to use Buyer Protection Program. Here is how the process works through the Buyer Protection Program:

- I make the private listing on eBay for you,
- you go and buy it through their website,
- you have to pay for the item to eBay to secure the funds,
- they confirm me that they received the funds,
- I deliver the motorhome,
- you receive the motorhome,
- they send me the money,

Everything is covered by eBay. I will get paid only after you confirm that you received the motorhome in good order.
Let me know if this is acceptable. Thank

Hi Alice
Where is the motor home as I would be interested in viewing it

Welcome to Scamwarners Winetime.

We 're well aware of the situation and every ad site is overwhelmed with fraudulent adverts.

Don't believe me ? Check here.

http://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=82849&start=240

I can only handle one ad site and I don't even attempt to note them all and I frequently get over 100 a day. As they are all absolute bargains, if you aren't aware of the situation, and you aren't cautious, you will lose a lot of money.

The ad sites themselves can't cope and I'm not even sure all of them try. To be brutally honest, if you lose all your money to a scammer, it doesn't cost an ad site a penny, so there's no great incentive for them to take action. Buyer beware has never had such significance.

Ad sites would like you to treat them as the place you shop first but, if you knew how riddled with frauds they are, shoppers would be much less likely to waste their time. There are some times of day that many sites are too overwhelmed to be any use at all.

Don't ever consider buying a vehicle you can't see or inspect. Treat an ad site only as a shop window.
