Just a word of caution.

From their FAQ
Galaxy Brokers Ltd is licensed and regulated by CISI The Hong Kong Securities and Exchange Commission
Galaxy is a member of the Investors' Compensation Fund, a fund established by the authorities offering protection to investors and clients of investment and credit firms in Hong Kong.

From an email I have received
Thank you for your enquiry.

According to our record, Galaxy Brokers Ltd has never been licensed by the Commission.

The Investor Compensation Fund, administered by the Investor Compensation Company Limited, is a single fund that covers defaults of licensed intermediaries and authorized financial institutions which are licensed or registered for dealing in securities or futures contracts or providing securities margin financing. As Galaxy Brokers Ltd is not a licensed intermediary, it follows that any of its defaults would not be covered by the fund.

You may also refer to the link below for the public register of licensed person and registered institutions:

Please note that the above information is provided to give you an idea of the current thinking of the Commission staff. You should seek independent legal or other professional advice before taking action on the matters discussed or if you have any doubt about how the law applies to you.

Of course, even if it were covered by the HongKong compensation Fund, which apparently it isn't, then it would only apply to HongKong investors anyway.

You won't be surprised to hear that Latin isn't the language used by residents of HongKong.

I can't think of a reason why they'd mention this in view of the alarming consequences.

Egypt "On the Verge of Bankruptcy"

Egypt is effectively out of cash. With foreign exchange reserves at a “critical minimum,” Egypt’s central bank imposed exchange controls and let the Egyptian pound exchange rate fall by about 5 percent from the level prevailing through most of 2012. The central bank will ration foreign exchange by holding auctions at which a limited amount of hard currency is offered, and restrict corporate cash withdrawals to $30,000 per day as well as limiting the amount of cash an individual may transfer out of the country to $10,000.

Things have got worse since that report.
