Fake banks, couriers, law firms, escrow and other fake sites used in scams.

The site listed above (globalsbond.com) is being used for courier and delivery fraud. A quick look at the site would have some suspecting it is not legitimate, in particular the tracking number log in on the front page not being https secured says a lot. So does the site layout as it looks like it was designed by a 5 year old, but I digress.

Getting even more specific the site has been listed as a fraudulent domain in the Artists Against 419 scam sites database here: (click). The reason for this is that this courier and delivery service does not exist and this is most apparent when checking out their contact details on their web page:

United States Of America (Headquarters)
106A Derby Street Silverwater NSW 2128
Email: [email protected]
Tel. (+1) 360-717-1927

From: http://www.globalsbond.com/Contacts.html

The first thing to notice is that the address is incomplete. No legitimate courier does this. We have no clue what state in the USA this company is in. That is ok, the USA phone number provided utilizes area code 360 which is the telephone area code for western Washington state outside of metropolitan Seattle. This means the courier business Global Bond Finance and Security would have to be found here:

http://dor.wa.gov/content/doingbusiness ... iness/brd/

In short, it is not. This is another thing legitimate businesses do not do. All legitimate companies must register for business licenses within the USA and more particularly within their state of operation. That being said if anyone reading this is doing business with globalsbond.com / Global Bond Finance and Security, STOP IMMEDIATELY! This is a fraud site that you will lose your money to.

Now, that was fairly specific above but I am one to not leave details out. Shall we get even more specific? This site is being utilized for a type of advanced fee fraud simply called a military scam. In short the scammer may use romance or simply tell the person that they are in the military stationed in Afghanistan. They then proceed to tell people that they have some goods to ship out of the country. Something like a trunk box full of cash or other valuable items captured and taken in war time. For this they need help to get it out of country and as such will need to use a very specific courier (globalsbond.com) to get these valuable commodities out of the war zone. Of course you, the victim of this scam, will have to pay globalsbond.com some fees which is where you are scammed.

Don't believe them for a second. These scammers are good and have been commonly operating under the following aliases:

Shipper Name : George Cartner
Shipper Phone : +44751323602
Shipper Address : Military Club Road #2,District #Shesh Darak,Kabul Afghanistan

Shipper Name : Michael Barbero
Shipper Phone : +44751323602

I am probably missing a few other aliases the scammer utilized but if I find out more I will be sure to post them. If you are a potential victim of this courier company please do not correspond with them further.

Sincerely,

- Joseph Kovacs
