This scam format is posted by hard copy mail to senior citizens, since the Scammers realise that many of them do not have email. Once the victim responds, the Scammers relentlessly call from spoofed or VOIP US numbers (some are below) pressurising the elderly person to send money via Western Union or MoneyGram to a network of US-based mules, who take a small cut and send the rest to the Scammers.
