An example of a more elaborate lottery scam. The IP does track back to South Africa as you'd expect and the 27 phone code is also correct for South Africa. However the aim.com email address gives it away as a scam as does the fact that yet again the sender demands absolute secrecy from you.
Other giveaways are that the 'terms of service' link at the bottom of the email does not work and if you let your mouse cursor hover over the email address, the address which shows up is actually: info .australiaclaimdpt1 @yahoo. com.au which is very odd for a South African Lottery. Someone is running a variety of lottery scams at once and getting all the returned emails sent to one address.

Apologies for the small example but the original was huge.
