Yea my story is that this random profile of a girl that messaged me out of nowhere on vampirefreaks and she tried sending me pictures and that jazz I didn't want them. Then the next day I get a message from this "agent" unit 768 Douglas Lacey I didn't know what to believe at first I thought to myself I have no criminal record or nothing what would FBI want with me I believed these ppl too over the phone it was sad but then I caught a glimpse here and saw the same agent name and unit and address and same exact contract then I thought "yea this is a scam" what a relief. On that contract the only difference was the money amount total was $2500 and I was to pay half which is $1250 luckily I only sent $400 before I caught on today. Sadly through a green dot money pak card tho so I can't get my money back. I blocked the number and everything. He tried leaving me a voicemail but I'm not touching it.

Hi so I think this is a scam but I am still unsure! So a couple of weeks ago I stared A online account on mingle2 and was contacted by a girl named Lisa! I gave Lisa my phone number and she said she was 30, after a few minutes without me asking she started to send me nude photos of her. She then asks for a nude photo of my and with out thinking I did it! Not the best idea, I know!! The next day I then get a call from "law enforcement" saying I need to talk to Mr. Patterson. So I call Mr Patterson and he says his daughter is actually 16 and that I need to pay $400 to replace there laptop that was destroyed! So I paid the amount and they said they would have no more contact with me. The next day they both call me and the officer said that Lisa slapped her mom and they had to take her to jail, and that Mr Patterson paid 1000 dollars and that I need to pay him back 500 or else they will come pick me up in 30-60 days! So I start paying him and then I just stoped and blocked all of their numbers! They are still trying to get a hold of me! But I saved Mr Patterson number as a contact in my phone and I bring up snap chat and it says that the owner of that number is James Fowler which is the name of the cop that called me. They actually sounded alike at times! My thinking is that Mr Patterson is not real and Lisa was not real and the pictures are stolen! Also Mr Patterson called and texts from the number that "Lisa" sent nudes on. Here are the numbers: Mr Patterson and Lisa number: +1 (361) 445-6581, officer: +1 (470) 303-0006, and another number that Patterson had was: +1 (314) 580-4592! Now Patterson and Lisa phone has an area code of Missouri and the the officers number was an area code of Florida. And "Lisa" told me that she lived in Texas and moved to Kansas. I do believe it's a scam but I am so scared right now!!

You have still been in contact with the scammer and refused our advice.

So he thinks he can steal your money as long as you are in contact with him.

If you ignore him. He will move on to his next victim.

How would the scammer know you employers email address?

If he does you still have two choices. Pay a bribe for the rest of your life or explain the situation to your boss.

I sent intimate photos/video to my scammer or he says he recorded my activities on webcam, and now he is threatening to publish them. What can I do?
Unfortunately, there is not much you can do. The only advice we can give you is not to give in to blackmail demands, and once again, cut off ALL contact with the scammer. If he cannot reach you, he cannot blackmail you. If he knows that he has power over you, he will continue to abuse that power and demand more and more money. He may promise to destroy the photos/video, but remember he is a liar and a thief, and his promises are worth nothing.

The truth is, in most cases the scammer will not follow through with this threat, because following through will cost him time and money. If he tries to post anything pornographic, most public sites would delete it anyway. In the unlikely event that he does post something, you need to be proactive and contact the site immediately to have it removed. Depending on the threats, you may want to file a report with law enforcement.

Just remember for the future that any photo or video you give to ANYONE is out of your control, and anything you do on webcam can be recorded. This particular issue is not exclusive to scammers - the internet is full of stories of angry people who posted intimate details or photos/video of ex-partners after a relationship ended badly.
