She told me via text she was 17. Removed bad advice (BW). I did not ask for any risqué (not nude) photos, and deleted them.

Just a little advice just in case you missed my previous post. In which I wrote. See below. Just a heads up.

For future references it may be legal in your state for consensual sex at 17 it is not legal to distribute or exchange nudes less than the age of 18.

Same MO... South Carolina... reel you in with some suggestive language and then a few photos. Then BAM... "daddy" calls screaming at you (me) about his underage daughter. (see, she said she was graduating and moving to my State soon thereafter... I just had it in my head that meant college age... so I went with it)

Anyway... the MO is the same, South Carolina, daughter was, "Ashley," daddy didn't give his name - AND, there is no name associated with the phone number.

Everybody's upset... But if I send them $1,200 - to repair damages by the out-of-control teenager, it will smooth everything over.

Was to send the money to: Linda Barbare. I did a search of Linda Barbare, there are several in South Carolina... And ONE with a criminal record. (I wonder if it's the same Linda Barbare? Ya think?)

Well, there you have it, folks. Add me to their list. I almost fell for it and sent that money. Glad I found this.

I had the same thing happen to me met a girl on POF got her number nudes her dad called me said she was 17 gonna call the police if I didn't pay for counseling I havent paid what should I do please help?

This is a scam . Don't pay these cockroaches anything . Follow the advice on page 1 of this thread and​ also report this scam on the IC3 Website

No you can't get in trouble

1 Terms of Service on POF are no one under 18 allowed .

2 These are fake profiles . there is no girl or 17yr old , only the scammer making demands for money .

3 That same exact demand for fake damages has been made of other victims in previous cases posted here .

4 As we've proved many times before on the previous pages, these are fake profiles constructed with stolen photos .

I'm sorry I don't remember what the account was called. I deleted my account, but the phone numbers that call were 704-207-3533 and 704-712-2562 they also gave me a pay-pal account to send money to which I didn't and that was [email protected] and then they gave me a name for a WU and that was Philip Chambers I hope this helps and how do I report it

It's been 3 weeks since i got contacted last time. I thought they forgot about me, but today they tried to call me twice. Number is still blocked, so i didn't get it, but it showed on my phone as a blocked number. Just thought i should share it with you all.

I had similar situation i got a text from a girl named jenny yesterday and today morning i got a text message i am texting minor girl ....later i got a call from san jose police department stating that i am looking at 2 counts of child pornography and one count of minor sexting ...i have attached the conversation below

This is Tom Ortiz, Miranda's stepfather. I believe you are the young man who has been texting and exchanging inappropriate photos with my daughter. Look, truth of the matter is you're in a lot of trouble. Honestly, my wife wants you in jail. We've already talked to the police department and they're waiting on us to come down to the station to turn my daughter's phone in as evidence so that they can file the charges of child pornography and solicitation of a minor. I don't know what the hell you were thinking but my daughter's only 15 years old. On top of that, almost two years ago, she was sexually assaulted and has been undergoing mental and behavioral health therapy ever since. So we are already going through a lot and we really don't need this. Now I understand you may have made a mistake but this is a serious matter. I have a nephew who is serving ten years in federal prison for a similar situation with an underage girl. My wife is very adamant about turning in my daughter's phone tomorrow and having you locked up. If I could have an apology from you and your word as a man that has this will never happen again, I would be willing to speak with my wife before she presses charges to see if she's willing to possibly settle this without the police. I got a call from san jose police department phone number ..
I was told i was going to arrested by monday evening for 2 counts of pornography and minor sexting charge
The person claiming her father is saying that there is was a exchange of sexual pics but i never sent any of my pics to her
i have reached out to san jose police station to find out they dint know what to say
i have the recording of his conversation

after reading through the conversation can will i be trouble for this
at first i thought it was scam but i had to belive it cause i got a call from san jose police department number ??
