Blocked the number. She was asking me to Cam. I don't her I don't know you and don't want to cam. She said we could meet somewhere and I didn't respond. I had no idea this is the world we live in. Thinking of going off the internet. This site is very informative but jesus, who does this sort of bullshit.

This is a big scam on the internet . Its epidemic . Victims of this scam have actually committed suicide .

I think we can assume that this was a Scam . Multiple profiles with different names and locations using the same Skype Address . Probably a Blackmail / Sextortion Scammer .

Thanks . Now that you have confirmed this is a scam , don't pay them any more money . Deactivate all your social media profiles . Don't answer calls from strange phone numbers and above all , file a report on the IC3 Website .

Did what you said. Blocked the numbers and deleted social media. They called today. They're still calling. From not only the 330 number but also now a new number. Number is 469- 509- 8520. Text me after I blocked that number as well saying " I will not play with you I have your pics I'm going to pick you up and post you on Feb sir I'm done playing"

Change your phone number now.

When I and everyone I know block a number the number never comes through again.

Stop communicating with this person.

They must have saw my last post to a friend of mine before I deleted my facebook. Which had my new number. After I got a few calls from these people, I went straight to my father. He had taken my phone and told them to screw off. He's got a friend in the DA office here. And told them they're now on a watch list. Been 3 hours and had heard nothing back from these people. Hopefully that had scared them off for good.

Ok so I was on POF a couple days ago and ran into some girl. We talked for a bit then she gave me her kik so we continued talking there. Here is where it gets weird she immediately starts asking for nude photos of me. Me being the stupid horny make I am agreed and sent her on only after she sent on first. She then asks for another with my face in it not thinking about it I send it. She says she is going to send me a video and to my surprise I got my Facebook photos and a list of my friends and family. I started freaking out she says she is going to send them to my entire friends list witch has my family and co workers. I'm in the navy so that is not going to be good for me if it gets out. She says she will delete them if I join her cam sites I agreed but my cards got declined thank god. So now she wants $300 I didn't have it so tells me give her 150. So panicking I send her 150. Now she claims to have deleted 1 of the 3 photos and I have to send another 150 to delete the rest. I have to send it when I get paid but I will be out to sea so I can't and told herit has to be when I return now she ups the price to $500 for waiting. Am I safe to just block her I already deactivated my Facebook. Btw the name I had to send money to was daricell sicat in the Philippines

Stop all contact with the scammer. Ignore all contact.

Do not send anymore money.

Deactivate the profile where you met this person.

Do not sign up for any links.

I sent intimate photos/video to my scammer or he says he recorded my activities on webcam, and now he is threatening to publish them. What can I do?
Unfortunately, there is not much you can do. The only advice we can give you is not to give in to blackmail demands, and once again, cut off ALL contact with the scammer. If he cannot reach you, he cannot blackmail you. If he knows that he has power over you, he will continue to abuse that power and demand more and more money. He may promise to destroy the photos/video, but remember he is a liar and a thief, and his promises are worth nothing.

The truth is, in most cases the scammer will not follow through with this threat, because following through will cost him time and money. If he tries to post anything pornographic, most public sites would delete it anyway. In the unlikely event that he does post something, you need to be proactive and contact the site immediately to have it removed. Depending on the threats, you may want to file a report with law enforcement.

Just remember for the future that any photo or video you give to ANYONE is out of your control, and anything you do on webcam can be recorded. This particular issue is not exclusive to scammers - the internet is full of stories of angry people who posted intimate details or photos/video of ex-partners after a relationship ended badly.

You need to report this to NCIS . There is a special number . Google Sextortion + Navy . Please post or private message links to any online profiles they have .
