This picture is, no doubt, of a real person and in the other picture I imagine that the child shown is his also, However, this is not the person who has placed the profile on the website.

I would prefer not to put the all ladies who have been contacted by this person in direct touch, but I will direct them towards this post so that they can discuss between them, in anonymity, the lies he has told them.

Whatever you believe or not, he is going to ask you for money. He does not live in the USA and does not write fiction, apart from the scripts for his Lottery scam mails.

When he asks for money - SAY NO. He's a man and can get credit from a bank like anyone else. If he's a gentleman he'll send you flowers, chocolates and gifts, but he doesn't intend to spend a dime on you, quite the reverse.

This is his opening gambit - and he's found every girl his perfect match

Hi dear,

Saw your profile and was amazed at it. I like you very much and I’m sure we have same attributes and will fit perfectly. I would like to start something with you. Im Matt from VA USA and I need a woman like you in my life. I am yet to settle in here in Virginia , I just want to see how things work out and if it warrants me settling in any other place in the USA , I will . I can relocate to anywhere as it makes no difference to my kind of work; will do only for someone I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Will be glad to hear from you.

Matt.

It appears that he and his buddies are using a template profile with the occupation changed, depending on which one is using it. Sometimes he is a writer, and on this one a film producer.

I am a documentary film producer of all kind...It a job i love so much as it has taken me a long way and has exposed me more to nature...I love nature so much and that is why i
am engaged in what i am doing today as an occupation which is what i love so
much. I love animals alot and i do communicate with them as they seem to get
attracted to me. I feel i was gifted by God and that is why i have so much
passion for them.I go by the name Mike and my friends call me Mikey... I enjoy
going out and living life to the extreme. A devoutly Christian man who lives his
faith daily, I love helping people and following Christ. I enjoy a variety of
things, like reading, writing, gym, travel, listening to music, watching movies
new and old,camping, meeting
new people, and so much more! Making other people happy, makes me happy and I
am always honest, caring, reliable and with a great sense of humour. I invest a
great deal into friendship (and am always up for a new correspondence) and am
seeking a partner who also lives her faith and shares an unconditional love for
God :) Feel free to write me.
What are you looking for in a partner?
My friends describe me as outgoing, genuine and kind in my personal life but in
my professional life I am determined and goal oriented. I am motivated to make a
positive contribution to society and fulfilling my destiny in God and helping
others do the same. I enjoy learning. I can have fun doing anything with someone who has captured my attention. I admire the woman who is passionate about her convictions and continues to stand for what she knows is right, even if she is the only one left standing. I am in awe of those who are protectors and thoughtful by nature. I think I have learned some keys to a lasting relationship: Two people who have a deep spiritual commitment to God, emotional maturity, intimate friendship and chemistry. And who have a passion for life and each other, transparency and celebrating their own uniqueness. Faithfulness and honesty are qualities one doesnt find very often and when you do you have found a treasure. I think I may be one of the last men on the earth who isnt into playing.

Might want to point out if he does send you flowers, gifts, etc., they will be paid for with a stolen credit card. So you should refuse to accept any such gifts.

I was making the point that he wouldn't consider doing anything for anyone.

To him this is purely a money making deal. In a normal romantic relationship (I remember those heady days) it would not be something of consequence.

Waste a stolen credit card on sending flowers ? - I think not.

He will never give you his phone number to call as you would barely understand his accent, but beware because it's not impossible he has contacts who could stand in for him and call you.

You can always double check by asking someone familiar with computers to do an ip search on his e-mail header. It will show Nigeria, no matter what part of the world he says he is in at any given time.

Yes Gomer I knew what you meant. But wanted to point out that sometimes the romance scammers do send flowers and gifts and they are from a stolen credit card.

By the way, maybe post up this guy's email address. I know a lot of people search on that first, especially when the name is something so common as Matthew Perry!

No problem. This is his e-mail address

"Perry Mathew B." [email protected]

For a Lottery scammer this is something very much outside his comfort zone and he must be getting assistance as he's introducing parts of the world he knows little about - Sweden - New Zealand - Australia - U.S.A. He likes yahoo chat.

Another check would be to ask him about his favourite football team. I suspect he'd give away that to him football is 'soccer', and his knowledge of US baseball or football would be minimal. I doubt he'd have a clue who the 'Redskins' are.

I also believe that towards the bottom of this extremely Hard Core Porn Page http://theadultsection.com/personals/listings.php?s=south_dakota&c=mitchell&i=M&t=G

There is a profile most likely created by the same person, please, dont click on the link if you may be offended by full frontal nudity

Just adding, thanks to www.scamdigger.com and to www.romancescam.com the same picture is used in a scam here http://www.romancescam.com/album/thumbn ... Carter.jpg

Fantastic work Ralph. The photo's been in use by scammers since 2007.

There are other photos including one with a child, supposed to be his son, which is pretty disgusting.

You're not only dealing with a lying, thieving cheat when you speak with this person - he is also without moral scruple and would gladly rip our your gold teeth just to make a buck.

I emphasise that the person shown in the photograph has nothing to do with the person using it at the website.

Happy to be able to help.

Just taking another look at that Romancescam link, if you folow it it leads to this http://www.romancescam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3351
Quite a bit of info in there and loads more photos including one with his son towards the bottom of the first page.

And yes, Scammers would happily steal the last $1 from their own grandmother to pay for another hour of internet cafe scamming time

I posted the info from here on romancescam yesterday. Since RS groups the threads by photo, the new post was connected to an old thread of scammers who have used the same photo in the past. It might not necessarily be the same scammer...just the same picture.

Both this warning and the RS thread are now showing up if you search by the email address in Google.
I also posted it on the Internet-love-scams site.
