I have been advised that a recent member may still be believing this man still loves her and is real.

The number he uses will be a redirect number appearing to be from the UK, calls to these numbers are very expensive, ask him to call you, and wonder why his number sending is turned off.

Ask him to send you a picture of himself holding your picture and wonder why he resists or sends a photoshopped picture

Ask him for his ID and see similiar edited IDs produced, if he doesn't have an excuse

Ask why he keeps insisting you send money by Western Union and not bank acounts, scammers can and often do supply bank accounts, but it is interetsing to see them trying to make up excuses to avoid it

If he can give you a bank account, why is it not his name

One of the big problems we face in convincing people they are being scammed is this;

While a love scam victim believes the person they are writing to is real, the fairy tale stays alive, they are a fiance, lover, other half of a wondeful relationship, the moment they accept the person is a scammer, they become another scam victim.

We see it time and time again, it is made even worse when the victim has told all of their friends and family about the person they are in love with, in many cases the people who have been told may have suggested some concerns, this may further fuel the reluctance to face reality as now they are not only a scam victim, but need also to admit they were so wrong.
The big problem here is that the scammer will not suddenly give up scamming for you (although some do pretend they will), money you have lost will not be returned, things will get worse until the scam victim admits to themselves.
