Scammer Douglas Grenz "Doug Grenz"

Please post these pictures on your site and do anything in your power to reach out to other victims / potential victims this is so sick!!! I was on skype I do not go on dating sites and I converse with family I saw him and he thought I may had known a person??? Good line and the rest is history... There are so many other names he goes by....I have posted him on a scammer site using this name as prior to that he had a clean slate with that name not anymore...His email address are [email protected] phone number he has used for England is 44 70 1114 7969 he currently is using this number in Nigeria 234 703 478 6995 his yahoo ID is [email protected] I think he meant .com?

I just want this site to be aware I found a picture of one of the scammers posted on another site that I now am dealing with but he is going by a different name to be aware... he is quite good in the beginning but slips up. This is why I started to do my own investigating. He goes by the name of Douglas Grenz on Facebook and Doug Grenz he has a profile picture of a young boy which I think is his actual son and the pictures you have on this site of him under the name of "Harry Brandon" is indeed the same person as I saw him on video. He also has a business link on us.viadeo.com under Douglas Grenz the same person. I will post the pictures I have so you all can be very careful he is no aware I am onto him and have figured this all out but unfortuetly this did not take place until I sent some money!!! He is wanting me to send him 7,000.00 now so I can help him out of Nigeria and go home but never tells me where in the States his home is after he mentioned California and found out that not to be true he will not tell me where it is....Well it's obviously Nigeria!!! I am not sure how to deal with this fake person who is hurting so many people it's sickening to me if you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

It sure is him!!! I just wish there was a way to really stop him in his tracks! The only thing I don't understand is why does he keep using the same pictures with different names? They are his pictures as I saw a live video of him which is also been posted on one of the other scammer sites.... He has backed off speaking to me as much as I will not give him any "More" money.... I have not let on that I know what he is doing not sure if I should tell him I know he is a scammer then block him.... Thanks for the confirmation with the picture

There's still a very good chance that you never spoke to the man in the photo. Webcam can easily be faked with just a small bit of video and special software, which is frequently sold from scammer to scammer. The software even allows the user to control and replay small actions in the video, making it look like the person is doing the activity on command. Scammers have actually been using porn actresses for their female characters for years, downloading videos from porn sites and using it to create fake webcam. Recently, though, we have seen this more frequently with scammers playing males--it's actually not that hard to find a suitable "model" from the millions of people who have posted videos on youtube or other social networking sites, or aspiring actors who have posted samples online in hopes of finding work.

The quality of the photo Ratt posted is very low--in fact it is worse than the quality from a standard cellphone camera. This actually makes it more likely to be fake webcam--if the scammer had video but no photos of the person he is posing as, he would have had to create his "photo" from one of the videos. Photos created that way will typically be lower quality. It also would explain why the scammer does keep using the same photos--it would require more work to find and create another new character with video.

If you can post some of the messages he sent you, it should be pretty easy to identify whether he is African (in which case he is definitely not the man in the photos), plus it will help others to avoid being scammed, as scammers often reuse scripts.

This douglas guy also goes by george archie baldwin. He owns a rig in alaska. I cannot believe what I read about this scammer last night. I have so much to write about him. His son's name is Harry Baldwin. I have his number from a land line based in Dallas Texas. He has 2 other contacts for money to be sent the Ukraine and Asia. He is also wanting to come home for Christmas. He said he found me through Facebook this past June. His picture is on facebook but you have to go under sue clark or Elsie Prottor and then go under their friends name and put in George Baldwin. So glad, I finally found some support here. I will continue to write more later in the day. I am in total shock still after seeing his picture.

Omg ladies. Have I got news for you he also goes by the name George Archie Baldwin an owner of a rig in alaska He is waiting for money right now. I have talked to him for 7 months. This is the guy now going with the name George Archie Baldwin. You have to look under sue clark and then look under her friends to find George Baldwin. Or look under Elsie Proctor he is listed under her friends. Omg we need to report this..

Please pose the email address that is being used and one of the first emails you received.

Do do NOT recommend messing with a scammer because your most likely are using your real life email address. That information can lead back to you and scammers have been known to harass people who mess with them. It is best to just disappear by ignoring the scammer no matter what he says to you.

well... Here we go Doughlas Grenz the person who is pretending to be such a person is a Nigerian Romance Scammer. He is now using the email address [email protected] avoid this Charactor at all cost...

I just can not pretend I don't know he has changed his profile any longer it is hard trying to sleep at night knowing innocent people are getting hurt financially and emotionally from this Scammer just like myself... Not anymore...
