Hi there
I have been corresponding with a man who says he is in Kabul
and we have got to the point of wanting to meet
he says he is due for a leave but that I had to contact his leave department requesting the leave
at this email address: [email protected]
I questioned why I had to request it for him - no response...
I am worried he is a scammer - this is his information:

Sgt. David A Parker
Kabul Afghanistan
Amphibious Squadron 6 Box 52 APO 0932-0052
Anti Armor Specialist

I will NOT be sending money if I am asked to that is for sure...
I am praying this is real and not a scam... can anyone help me out?
thanks

Welcome to Scamwarners,

Yes the person you are in contact with is a scammer.

Military members will not have there wives, mothers, children or internet girlfriends request leave for them. They will have to do it themselves through their chain of command. They do not pay for leave either. Only the military member talks with his chain of command.

Military members do not pay for medical, internet or phones either.

This is a free email provider ( [email protected] ) just like yahoo, gmail and hotmail. The military would not use a free email provider.

He sound sweet/loving because he is sending you stolen poems off the internet and pre drafted scripts. That he sends to 100's of women.
