I’ve often wondered how many emails are sent per hit to my post.

This could (2008 news story) give you some sort of idea, and how important posting scripts is

"A new study details how spammers – the bane of our email inboxes – still make pots of money, despite only receiving a response to one in every 12,500,000 emails they spam out."

I wonder what the rate is for purely scam emails.

out of the possibly interested how many google results? this could increase the number of non-responses.

When I was in college a million years ago, the number for acceptable return on mailed out surveys was 10%. I hope that scammers do not have that high of a rate of return.

Good question, it might be hard to get a real answer.
