Of course not only is the real landlord at risk, but the renter too who will not have any right to stay in the property.

The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) reports that empty property across the UK is being used by fake landlords to commit rental fraud.

Criminals have been illegally entering vacant premises, changing the locks, then advertising the property for rent.
