Production Assistant Responsibilities

Typing, editing, copying and distributing scripts;
Organizing travel arrangements for cast, crew and production executives
Organizing accommodation for cast and crew
Typing and distributing schedules, or call sheets
Assisting cast members, and at times running errands for them;
Checking running orders and scripts
Keeping track of timings during the program;
Setting up pre-recorded material in the studio gallery; making schedules, shot lists, logs and other paperwork for post-production.

Note: The production will be done in Devens, MA from 05-11-2016 to 05-14-2016 at New England Studios, 100 Studio Way, Devens, MA 01434 but you'll be needed here in Devens, MA from 05-09-2016. Both travel/hotel expenses will be covered by the company.

I was also contacted 4/28/16 via email from supposedly the producer of Black Lab, Kevin P Smith asking for my services (I am a photographer) for a shoot that is to take place May 13-15th, 2016 in San Francisco. Email also said they found my resume on INDEED which I don't use (not relevant to my industry). I called the actual company in L.A. and left a message at the actual company warning them about it. Here is what I was sent after I said I was wanted more info.There was an attachment but I did not open it as I was afraid it was a virus :

Thanks for your respond. All other information will be released to you 72 hours to your arrival in San Francisco. This e-mail outlines the entire process before the production and also how to proceed. Please note that during the production you will have to put your skills to perfect professionalism in order to assist the production team to produce a perfect show.

*You will also receive a check for $3450 in the following days via FedEx and this check will cover your personal expenses and travel/lodging expenses which will be handled via a designated travel agent. The amount of $500 out of the check is allocated as down payment to show our keen interest in your services while the remaining balance will be transferred to the travel agent who will make all the
necessary feeding, hotel and travel arrangements on your behalf to San Francisco, CA (more information on the travel agent will be provided to you ASAP). The balance ($1600) of your pay will be given to you after the production.

During the course of the coming days we will provide all necessary information momentarily but for now we only seek that you reassure us of your availability during the weekend of 05-13-2016 to 05-15-2016 and also your utmost commitment regarding this project. Furthermore, I will like to state that all crew members will be arriving the evening of the 12th or the very morning of the 13th and be departing the production venue on the 15th (evening). The check will either be a fake or stolen. The will want you to deposit the check and then wire some amount of money to a "third party". This other person is actually the scammer playing another role in the scam.
Refuse delivery and tell the driver that it is a scam.

Oh I am not going further with it. No check will come they don't have my address. And I am blocking the email address.
