I am REALLY upset about this. I am a single mother looking for work and unfortunately, that means I have to spend hours daily responding to employment post on hit or miss (mostly miss) sites such as Craigslist. After replying to one such post, this is the email I have received:

My name is Philip Martinez, I am 53 years old, married with children. I am a relatively successful entrepreneur with huge investor in the real estate market and Health Sector which tends to be my main source of income. I am looking for a trustworthy and reliable individual who works well and understand orders.

I have been a financial planner and a lawyer for over 26 years now and am also a private researcher. I travel often within and outside of the United States working on various independent projects. This is why I need someone who can help keep me up to date with all of my activities, especially while I am away and amidst my busy schedule. My previous personal assistant is currently unavailable due to health reasons and I am keen on finding an efficient, motivated, organized individual who can communicate well and is able to multi-task under pressure.

This position is office-based and flexible for now. Working for me is a test of following instructions,someone who is able to meet up with me at irregular times. As my Personal Assistant, your activities amongst others will include:

I was excited when I got a reply so quickly, but I was very suspicious. It all seemed to good to be true. Then they responded saying i was hired but somehow they had am old phone number and my current address even though i didnt give them either.Thanks to my Google search I found this site and saw that the email this "Philip Martinez" sent me has been going around for years. I am still in communication with this person, as this info is new to me and I have yet to decide how to proceed. I am worried about what they can do with the info i did give them (ie phone number, city, full name, age) especially, since they somehow figured out my street address. Not sure what they are trying to get from me or their objective, but I am even more upset that they had the gall to use a Bible verse in there email, which I must admit, as a Christian, made me trust them to begin with. (I know how ridiculous that sounds, believe me) Any info or advice that can be shared would be much appreciated.

I really want to confront this person...

Please post his email address; others may be looking for the address to find out if he's a scammer.

Just cut off contact. He's not trying to commit identity theft; he's looking for people to receive stolen money and forward it to him as money or as goods.

After sending my Resume I recvd this email response back from "Dr. Philip Martinez email address [email protected]. But when I responded to email (Thanking him for wasting my time) the return email was automatically to [email protected].

I see this scam has being happening for over a year.

The email said this:
