This cultural Exchange Foundation of Canada is a scam. What the modus is they hire you as temporary and
Fiona Woolmer will even request you to set up Viber account to chat with her. The normal assignment is for
you to get some projects that you need to submit. Then they will ask you to provide a bank account so they can send the money by E-transfer but eventually they will steal your information and do their scam method.

They will give you the funds but eventually they want you to give back the money to another person. I think they must have stolen the bank account from their victims (the one they allegedly hire on probationary period) and the person that they are providing the refund of the money they gave you was the scam. Canadian banks was able to track this scam.

I was just scammed by these people but they did not get any work or money out of me. They now called themselves Learning Bridge Global Network (LBGN). The job description was the same for the Cultural Exchange Foundation of Canada and their new website is http://www.learningbridgeglobalnetwork.com . The starting salary is $27 an hour to start and $33 after one month of probation. The website email is [email protected] . The woman who contacted me is called Monica Farrell. The director of their program is Paul Smart. They claim they have an office in Fredericton, NB which I discovered doesn't exist. They might also tell you that their head office is in Zurich, Switzerland. The emails from Monica Farrell contained broken English which isn't very professional. The advertisement for the job may have been on http://www.indeed.ca as that was the only job board I was applying for and there would be no other way they would get my name and email.

I got the same email! I actually believed it for a bit and was emailing this Monica Farrell lady back. I didn't do any work or anything for them so I'm glad I read this. They go by the name of learning bridge network and their website doesn't even work anymore. If you search up their address in Fredericton it turns out that it's just empty space. These people are ridiculous! Her english was broken and I should've known because what they were offering was too good to be true.

They say that they pay $27 to start and $33 after that. They wanted me to start immediately but I said I had to wait it out because of my previous job. It's funny because I had a feeling that it was a scam, so I did some research and found this forum. She seemed upset on the phone when I said I wouldn't be able to start right away. I just called the number to see if I can mess with them a little but their lines have been disconnected.
