Mangaard Travel Group - [email protected]

I am currently in the job market and received a job offer from a Mangaard Travel Group for Operations Clerk. Once I was "accepted" for the position they sent me some documents that detail the job; essentially, I would be working from home and be used to process payments for their clients coming to the US and using Moneygram or Western Union. This is where it all started to sound fishy to me.

The site looks legit enough, but I can't seem to wrap my head around that a "prestigious" travel company would need means like Moneygram to move funds around.

The site was cleared by ScamAdviser, but apparently that itself isn't reputable. As of now I have decided to stop any communication with the "company", but I thought I'd bring the scenario to the forum to both get some affirmation from the community that this is a scam and also to warn anyone else possibly contacted by these people.

The scammer wants you to receive stolen money from other victims and forward it to him.

Please post the actual emails sent to you minus your personal information.

Post all the email addresses used and phone numbers.

The scammer is pretending to be a real company.

However, MANGAARDTOURS.COM is the fake website he is writing from.

Real employers do not do interviews through google or yahoo.

Meet your future employer face to face in person.

Please post the email you got from mangaardtours.com, with complete headers. If you got a reply to the email you posted above, which you sent to them, post it. mangaardtours.com is email-only, so we need headers from it to kill it.
