Dear Employee (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx),

This is to officially confirm receipt of your signed Employment Agreement. Management is pleased to have you as part of this great establishment and congratulate you on the success of your job application. We do hope that you will put in your best to ensure the steady growth of this company.

This recruitment exercise is in phases which include allocation and registration of accommodation at the housing quarters, making arrangements for banking and other financial statements, acquiring certifications and documents needed from the necessary authorities, travel plans/securing of flight ticket (we have made contact with the British Embassy in your country to initiate your Visa procurement) and lastly sending all documents to you as we anticipate your arrival. We hope to complete all recruitment proceedings before your arrival therefore your swift response to our emails and total commitment/cooperation is required.

Before we commence with the proceedings stated above, we have to secure your right to work in the UK legally. As a Non EU Citizen and Non-Resident in the United Kingdom, it is pertinent that you have all required legal immigration documents approved before your arrival. In line with Immigration, Asylum, and Nationality Act 2006, it is required that all employee who are Non EU Citizen and Non-Resident in the United Kingdom obtain all necessary immigration particulars to enable them live and work legally here in the United Kingdom.

In order to achieve this important step(s), you are expected to contact your assigned Immigration Consultant (Mr. Ryan Cook). He will be a mediator between you and the UK Visas and Immigration and provide you with all details, documents and regular updates from the UKVI. Mr. Cook has been helpful in the past for some of our foreign employees and is well experienced and effective when handling cases like this.

Kindly note that management will take responsibility for the cost of procuring your Visa and Flight Ticket while the cost for processing your Resident Permit/Work permit will be handled by you. This is the policy of the company since we spent funds on processing permits for countless applicants in the past only for some of them to fail to show up for their appointments, thereby causing the company huge losses. Please, we expect you to cooperate with us in this regard.

You are hereby directed to contact Mr. Cook immediately with contact details below:

Mr. Ryan Cook

Good luck.

The scam artists have gone so far to use company letterheads and official documentation from the British Embassy.

The following names have been used throughout the employment process:
Callum Aldridge - UKVI accounts representative.
Ryan Cook - Immigration Consultant UK Visas and Immigration
Dean Richardson - Badcock Housing Manger
David Willock - Manager Housing Scheme
Ros Powell - Postline Couriers

What are the next steps that we can take.

i have received similar information. However, mine is a different company and i did some research on it it seem to be a registered company. They have not asked for money yet. Thank you very much for this.

The company may well be registered, but it is almost certain that it is not them that you are in contact with.

If you can post the email you have received along with the email address, any website and telephone numbers that they are using, we can tell you if it is legitimate or not.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
