This could very well be just another advance-fee scam, but looks like it leaves itself open to other angles.

What often happens with these is the shopper is sent a fake check, asked to buy a few items and fill out some bogus forms. They are then asked to evaluate a Western Union or Moneygram store with what's left over.

Sometimes they can be asked to ship items to the scammer too.
