Aris basketball club. A professional basketball team based in Greece is seeking a full-time qualified director of operation.
Responsibilities
1) Communicating with head coach to update them on team performance, schedule changes, and other relevant information
2) Coordinating travel logistics for the team including booking flights, hotels, buses, and rental cars
3) Reviewing game film and scouting opponents to help prepare the team for upcoming games
4) Maintaining records of game statistics, player performance, and team standings
5) Ensuring all team equipment is in good working condition and available for use
6) Coordinating with the athletic department to promote events and activities
7) Coordinating with student managers to help schedule practices and arrange travel arrangements for away games
8 ) Providing support to the team’s coaching staff by managing team schedules, tracking player performance during practice sessions, and arranging travel arrangements for away games
9) Coordinating with marketing staff to plan advertising campaigns and promotions for the school’s athletic programs
Education:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a sport-related field, such as kinesiology, exercise science or physical education. or a master’s degree in sports management or a related field.
Training & Experience:
five years of experience in a related role, have worked as a basketball operations assistant or a basketball operations coordinator.
Applicants will be Legally authorized to work full-time in Greece for the duration of internship and will be able to relocate. Effective communicator with a strong work ethic, Highly motivated and passionate about working in Athletics Detail-oriented. organized flexible with the ability to multi-task.
