This is a Company Representative Payment Scam. You will be sent fraudulent cheques or Money Orders, which you will be asked to cash and send the money (minus your 10%) to someone by Western Union. The cheques will eventually be found to be fraudulent by the bank and the money will be debited from your account. If you get involved with these scammers, you will lose money and may also face investigation for fraud.

This is a genuine and long-established business, but using the names of real companies is a common scammer trick. The two phone numbers are redirect ones, and can be answered anywhere in the world.
The fax number looks like a genuine UK number, but a web search shows that several scammers use it. It may be that the scammers are relying on victims being unlikely to use it.

^^^^ (0) 871 numbers are non-geographic numbers like (0) 70 numbers are, they are just charged at a different rate for calls. They can be set up in the same way that the (0) 70 numbers are and directed anywhere.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Not to mobiles or outside the UK according to www.4telgroup.com/ngn/faqs.htm#8 . Not without using Call Direct as well.
Can I point my non-geographic number to my mobile?

No. We will only route calls through to a normal UK landline telephone or fax number.

If this is something that you are looking to do we normally recommend that you contact your line provider e.g. BT, and arrange to have a Call Divert service added to your package. This would give you the ability to divert calls to 'any' number you wish, and would also mean that you would have greater control over the delivery of your telephone calls.

PhonepayPlus will be regulating 0871 numbers in a couple of months, and they are pretty good at dealing with rogue users. I reported one a few years ago and they were fined £20,000.

It does look like you might be able to direct them to email though, which is possibly what the scammers are doing. Alternatively, its possible that if the scammer is part of a gang, they may have a contact in the UK who picks up faxes and passes them on.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
