A very brief employment scam email. There are many people who may be so desperate for paid employment that they'll not see the signs pointing this out to be a scam. The email originates in Nigeria though "Gary" claims to be in the UK. There is no legitimate business in the world that would approach complete strangers to handle company funds. The checks will be fake. Your bank may initially clear them but eventually the fraudulent payment will be discovered for what it is and the victims' bank will come looking for their money. The victim will be out of pocket and the scammer will be long gone.
