Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

This "Technip Recruitment Agency" job scam has been around for some time now. The scammers continually change their script, email addresses and contact numbers but the essense of the scam remains the same. It is a form of advanced fee fraud. There are no jobs to be had in responding to this message. The scammer is likely to demand that applicants pay for fraudulent certificates and/or the victim will be told to contact a fake travel agency where further demands for travel fees will be made.

Do not apply for work by responding to this message. There are no jobs and you risk identity theft and the loss of your money.

Hi skyrider, Welcome to Scamwarners. The message I posted back in September is a fake job scam. It was posted in the hope that people would learn of the scam before losing any money. The work offered in the email does not exist. None of those jobs listed exist. The scammer is trying to steal money by demanding that applicants pay for various travel (visa, etc) and other immigration or documentation type fees. The scammer will generally demand that the fees be paid by Western Union, though he may direct the victim to send the fake fees via bank transfer.

Could you post the phone number and/or email address that "Dr. Abel Jacson" used to contact you. If the first email that you received appears similar to the one posted above, it will definitely be a scam.

If you are not comfortable posting this information in a public forum, please feel free to send me a PM

There's no doubt that it is a scam.

The contact number +234-80-37360969 is listed in relation to scams here.

The free email domain contractor.net and minister.com can be found here. Genuine large recruitment companies and government departments do not use free email services to conduct official communications.

The free email addresses: [email protected] and [email protected] appear as an advanced fee fraud contacts on a blacklist here.

I strongly recommend that you break off all communications with these criminals. Ignore or delete their emails and hang up when they telephone you. It might be more advantageous to seek work closer to home with recruitment agencies that have a solid reputation and an office that you can actually visit.
