OMG! I also received an email from mystery shopper. I checked the originating IP address and their from lagos,Nigeria. I attach the email so that everybody will know that it is a scam email.

We appreciate your prompt response to our initial mail and we congratulate you on this Secret Customer's Assignment. Whenever we notify you of a survey assignment either by e-mail or telephone you may accept or decline. Acceptance of an assignment:

---Creates an implied contract between you, as the independent contractor, and us, the survey team.
---Means you will perform the assignment in compliance with the criteria stated in the Surveyors Directions, Notifications, Scheduler Updates and the terms of this Agreement.
---Means that if conflicts arise such that you are unable to fulfill an assignment you must notify the Survey team scheduler 24 hours in advance by e-mail before the funds to carry out the survey is sent to you. Not doing so would mean a breach of contract.

Shopper's Guide wants you to run a survey on two prominent companies in your area.
1st is a Western Union Location
2nd is a MoneyGram Location

There have been reports about laps in the services of their management and some of their staff.The complaints are based on reports which their customers forwarded anonymously and Phone calls which were also made to the head office. These reports Include: Late opening hours and closing before time, slow services, loss of money, excess charge.

YOUR SECRET EVALUATION WOULD BE:
To make a transfer of funds from any Western Union location around you to another Secret Shopper at another location where a Customer reported her funds missing.

You would be sent some funds in form of VERIFIED MONEY ORDERS which would cover the Western Union charges, your transportation fees, your feeding and your compensation. As soon as you receive the funds in form of Money Orders, you should cash it at your bank, deduct your expenses and compensation, then use the rest of the funds for the survey/ assignment.

YOU WOULD HAVE TO KEEP A COMPREHENSIVE REPORT ON EVERY ACTIVITY AS REGARDS THE FOLLOWING:
1) How long it took you to get services.
2) Ambiance/Outlook of the Outlet.
3) Smartness of the attendant.
4) Customer service professionalism.

The MSPA never, ever, seeks to recruit shoppers, or to ask for payment from them to conduct work. It appears that fraudsters are operating by pretending to be the MSPA, and seeking shopper details by email or telephone.

Since I am not replying to the emails of this scammer, I got this email from him this morning....

Dear Shopper,

I have been sending you series of email and awaiting your response concerning the check which my company sent to you for your first assignment but no response from you.

I am giving you 48 hours to respond acknowledging the receipts of the check else i will report you to Interpol and FBI stating you want to scam my company.

That's not unusual. Scammers sometimes try to frighten victims into complying.
Dsoes that mean you have received a check? We don't advise people to bait scammers using their real life details.
It might be a good idea to tell him that your bank identified it as fake when you presented it.

I haven't receive any check...so what should I do??

As long as you don't receive a check you have nothing to worry about. And even if you get a fake check you can just tear it apart, write "fake" on it in huge print and keep it as a trophy or you could bring it to your LEO. Keep on ignoring them and they will leave you alone. I think they know by now they can't scam you out of your money and they will move on to the next victim.
