chevroncanada.ca is registered for only one year less than two weeks ago. There's no way it could be the official site of Chevron. realtyagent.com is a free email domain run by GMX. To get a visa for Canada, you have to apply to a Canadian embassy or consulate in your country. chevroncanada.ca is in the process of being reported for fraud.

Hi,

I think I got the same problem. I received an offer from Chevron UK. I went through a couple of emails and that was it. They came to me with a pre-agreement form. I checked the phone number (it's not the normal ++4470), and it does not belong to the scam-list. It is actually a British one (though mobile), and was previously used for advertising position for an hotel in London.

Here are the details:

Chevron United Kingdom
Limited Company
1 Westferry Circus
London
E14 4HA
United Kingdom
Tel: +447509351889

Dear xxxxx xxxx

Thanks for your email and for also sending back to us the answers to the Online Interview Questionnaire which the Chevron management has found satisfactory.

This is an Affirmation that your experiences and qualifications were found suitably qualified for the requirements of Chevron United Kingdom. Kindly find attached herewith our job offer contract letter.

You are to read carefully the employment contract letter and if everything is fine with you, sign and send back to us as an email attachment, the signed letter and since you are an EU citizen with an EU passport, you would be eligible to work here in the UK.

You would also find in the contract letter that the only fees which is required of you to pay is for your A.R.F (Accommodation Registration Fee). The A.R.F would be paid only once and then you would be entitled to live at the Chevron's staff quarters for a period of one year without paying anymore rental fees. Also, the A.R.F would also have to be paid before your arrival, so as for us to provide you with an accommodation registration number, which would have to be recorded in your employment file before it's been saved on our database, so do take note of this.

For more information please do not hesitate to write back to us and we would be looking forward to receiving the signed contract letter.

It is a scam.

Actually this phone number is a re-direct phone number. It can be answered anywhere in the world. This is the preferred number for scammers pretending to in the UK.
(it's not the normal ++4470)

mysteryquest is asking for you to post the headers. Please remove your email address from them.

Please ask any further questions you may have.

Please contacta moferatorstor if you have a question or information about this post.

Hi,

Am I wrong or someone said the header look good. Actually, what does that mean? This sounds like a nasty job ...
I tried to report that to Chevron, but got no answer so far. What could you suggest I could do?

Thanks

I meant that the headers are good for reporting the domain for fraud; they contain information that proves that the email went through the domain's mail server.
