This is an email I received after I received a profile hit from

Yes that is a Reshipping Scam . Could you please extract and post email headers , with your email address edited out , along with the body of the email and any links to job listings . Website will be reported for Fraud .

Typical scammer illogical explanation.

Assuming 10 hours of "work" a week (which is pretty high), $2300 a month amounts to over $50 an hour, a ridiculous amount of money for a shipping clerk. And that's before "expenses."

From another angle, assume you would handle 10 shipments a week. Again, that amounts to over $50 per shipment, a completely inappropriate amount. And that's on top of the cost of shipping itself.

Now say the company handles 50 shipments a week (remember they are supposedly busy.) That would require 10 employees, or $11,500 a month.

Let's assume they were a real company (they are not.) A company could rent an office or warehouse space, hire two full-time employees at $10 an hour (really a single full-time employee could handle more than 50 shipments a week), and pay significantly less than $11,500 a month. And then they could take better advantage of bulk shipping and supply options, and not have to worry about paying travel expenses to and from the post office, and don't risk packages being sent to homes and disappearing, which is inevitably what will happen. And that's assuming a low number of shipments. Double that to 100 shipments a week and the cost difference is far higher.

The reason they want people to receive and forward the merchandise from their homes is because it is purchased with stolen credit cards and/or phished/hacked bank accounts, and using a variety of mules typically means they can get more out, as it won't be detected as quickly as it would if all the stolen merchandise was shipped to one location.. Sure, they will lose some merchandise to theft/damage, but since it was bought using a stolen payment method anyway, it's not coming out of their pockets. Plus they don't actually intend to pay you--they will just stop sending packages to you after a while, sooner if you catch on or they hear the police paid you a visit.

I can fetch the other pages with wget, but Konqueror gives the internal server error. What browser are you using, and what result do you get?
