Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.
#230672 by shy2shy82 Sat Dec 13, 2014 9:06 pm
Hi I have recently gained employment with this company and I did research prior to responding to an open position. I posted my resume on career builder and monster. I went through a screening process through Help Us Staffing and after 3 wks I finally got the position. I have not been asked to pay for stuff or send money. I am quality control and will also be handling customer issues. I will be receiving my first check at christmas. I have read up on similar "reshipping" scams and although similar I have not found anything against the company. I also spent 9hrs making phone calls to the BBB, Attorney General in Ca, the Consumer people and many more. No one has any complaints against them and that is all I am being told. I am on pins and needles waiting to hear something from "someone". I have seen alot of differences such as how I was screened to be a fit for the company, I am not being asked to pay for packages going out, my "boss" is not pushy or threatening, they answer when I call. Things of that matter is why I am torn. I have safe guarded myself and flagged my credit report and also printed it out as a copy for myself. I am trying to work while raising a 2 yr old and help my husband work less hours due to a heart attack. I have a lot on the line and have done extensive research with noavail. The company is Angela's Electronics aka electroniti.com. They are out of Moreno Valley CA and I have contacted the police department there and as yall know they have other things to worry with due to the weather disaster. Please I am in dire need to know something if anyone can help me any further please.

We will need to see the emails and email headers they sent you. They could possibly be using a legitimate businesse to commit the scam. You can find information on how to find email headers in my signature. Just remove your personal information.

I will say a real company will do a face to face interview.

There is not a company in the World that will have internet stranger accept packages and forward them.

This is one of the worse scam position to be in.

Please contacta moferatorstor if you have a question or information about this post.

Please do not tell the scammer he is posted here.

this page : http://www.electroniti.com/contacts/ says its a BBB accredited business, but the BBB site says it is not. http://www.bbb.org/central-california-i ... a-13056655

I couldn't find a record of them @ the CA sec of State's website, but they don't have to register as a corp, or an LLC, either. http://kepler.sos.ca.gov/

Google maps shows the address as a residential address, not a commercial building.
https://www.google.com/maps/place/12834 ... 960caff405

I found this post as well : https://answers.yahoo.com/question/inde ... 128AAbyfba

and this description on someone else's social media page :
Logistics Manager
Electroniti.com
November 2014 – Present (2 months)California
Check list of orders, Check tracking number for status of delivery, Sign and accept deliveries, Check deliveries for any damages, that information matches information in the data base and make sure product(s) are operational. Any damages are to be reported to management. Take pictures of products upload to database. Ship everything out.

If I believe what others have written on the internet ( and I don't ) I'd say for sure this is a reshipping scam. It makes zero sense for a company to send you a package, you inspect it, then you re-ship it elsewhere. They could ship it themselves for half the cost. No business likes to pay twice when they only need to pay once.... except scammers that are trying to avoid the law.

Apparently you know a lot of what to look out for, so be cautious, but not overly cautious. Are you in California ?? ( I don't want to know where you are, I just want to know if you are planning on going to their location to work or not. )

I don't know how a retail store requires a "quality control" position, unless that is on site watching boxes being packed and loaded..... as far as customer service goes, that can be them forwarding calls to your home # these days ( also called telecommuting), no problem.

Was your "interview" or " screening" (as you called it) with the staffing agency in person, or on the internet?

Please do post the email(s) with complete header information like BW asks. that will tell us a lot more.

I shopped on it, and on the checkout page, it is not even encrypted. While it may not be required, it sure is far from Standard Operating Procedure on most retail sites. http://www.electroniti.com/checkout/onepage/

When you receive the first package and they want the package reshipped to a country overseas you will have your confirmation that it is a scam.
Work at home reshipping jobs do not exist.

It is ALWAYS a scam
If the pet seller or shipper asks for money to be sent via Western Union, Money Gram, any brand of gift card. Walmart To Walmart , Zelle , PayPal friends and family option, or mentions Cameroon

The website electroniti.com is either fake or belongs to the world's most stupid online retailer - As HillBilly said, their checkout process is unsecure, including the part that takes credit card details - no legitimate business would do that.

These re-shipping scammers have a habit of buying up old domains to make it look like they have been in "business" longer than they actually have.

Thank you for all of your responses. I did the interview over the phone they are in Ca and I am in Ga. The company that screened me was help us staffing. helpusstaffing.com, I emailed the legal department to kindly ask if they knew anything about the company. I do not understand how to do the header thing. I will try so that y'all can help me. If this company isnt real wow they sure stepped it up from all of the other ones that I have heard of. Also, ya so far all of the packages are going to the UK, Finland and Russia. I have taken several avenues to protect myself by contacting the police departmet there and calling several companies such as the BBB, Consumer ppl, Attorney General and many others.

RE: Vacancy For

Dear

I am Charles Gordon, the HR manager of Angela's Electronics.

We wish to add two new employees to our team within the next 2-3 weeks. It is a home-based, full-time position.

Electroniti.com is an affiliate of Angela's Electronics, located in Moreno Valley, California. We have been in business since 1999 as a distributor of electronics and household goods. We focus on providing great value to both domestic and foreign clients, by providing great prices, service and excellent delivery. Electroniti.com was started in 2012 and has moved Angela's Electronics to new heights. In the year 2013 we enjoyed improvements in both revenues and net profits. Due to our growth, we expect to expand our operation even further and wish to invite you to be a part of our growing team.

If hired as a Logistics Manager with the Angela's Electronics, your duties will include:

* Providing customer support, including dealing with any complaints
* Handling shipments for error-free delivery
* Staying in daily contact with a supervisor
* Doing what is necessary to satisfy our customers satisfied and keep them returning for repeat business

You do not have to have prior experience, but preference will be given to those who are in large metropolitan areas such as NYC, Miami, LA and the Bay Area. In addition, we will give preference to candidates who have some experience in delivery service companies such as FedEx or DHL. Even if you have no experience, don’t let that discourage. We would like for you to apply anyway. Often, a positive attitude and the desire to perform makes a person more valuable than an applicant with a degree and an excellent resume. Our HR team strives to work hard to find just the right person for our company.

After reading Company brochure that is attached, complete the application if you are interested. First, please complete this form that can be found online at this site:

http://helpusstaffing.com/?p=0bb9a5d561 ... 741f2e7ffb

We may require about 5 working days for our HR specialist to process your resume. Once the initial screening is completed, one of our representatives will contact you. You will be scheduled for a phone interview, during which time we will answer your questions and determine if you might be a valuable addition to our team at Angela's Electronics. The earlier you submit your reply the better chance you have of being successful at being hired for the job.

Sincerely Yours,
Charles Gordon

helpusstaffing.com and electroniti.com are run by the same gang of scammers that ran usahiringservices.com and my-boxes.com. They are in the process of being reported for fraud.

Real businesses do not ever hire after a phone or an internet interview. Scammers go to great lengths to make it seem like all is legitimate. Please read this article to help you understand fake job offers : http://www.scam-job-emails.tk/

If you have used the USPS mail system to send packages overseas, I'd strongly suggest you find your local Postal Inspector's office, take all of your emails with these (fake) companies, and even this thread printed out with you, and report it. Find your local PI's office here : https://ribbs.usps.gov/locators/find-is.cfm

If you have used other shipping companies, alert their fraud departments as well. Taking those steps will help show you are a victim in this scam, not a conspirator. https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/radD ... sMain.html

Wow. I hope these people are legit I have two babies and a single mom can not afford this non sense so I was hired as well by Angela's and I also am a logistics manager. I pray to God they are not scamming people they have my bank info for direct deposit and everything. I noticed that the chat was not paid for. Wow again its funny we all woke up at the same time looking up this company. Mr David Brooks is supposed to be my training manager. I better get paid the 1850 they owe me at the end of the month.
