AIL Loans

Has anybody heard of http://www.ailoans.com.
They sounded extremely legitimate until they asked me to send them a payment of $78.
Now just because I wouldn't send them the money they are threatening to send my name to collection.
Are these people scammers.

So we have a website less than a year old, registered for the minimum period, with a registrant hiding his identity. A legitimate business in the loan industry would register with the business information.
I see the same people also have another site, http://fortuneeuroinvestors.com, also less than a year old.

There is no phone number, address, or company information on the website, but I did find this:

NOTICE: AILOANS is only matching Private Angel Investors with private individuals in need of a personal or business loan. We do not invest in Securities nor give advise for the investment in Securities.

So they don't actually give you loans, you pay them and they supposedly will match you with an investor. But since they have hidden their own information, if you lose your money, you have no recourse to get it back.

If it were me, I would stay far away.

What about this collection agency that they threatened me with, should I be concerned about that

They actually might try to threaten you into paying. If you are really contacted by a collection agency, come back here for help.

It sounds really sus like the other company you asked about. I don't understand why they are threatening you into paying? Certainly does not sound like a legitimate company. If I may be as bold to suggest you maybe go to a proper well known bank?

I would but my credit is not that good and the banks will not help.
I don't like payday loans either.

I was dealing with these people also and when I asked for a phone number or assurances that they were legitimate, the "loan officer" Hellen Clark (her email is [email protected]), became very rude and said our pre-approval was withdrawn. I wouldn't trust them because they wouldn't give me any assurances of their legitimacy. When I questioned them she told me "people with bad credit can't question the legitimacy of others" and that if I didn't like their procedures "I should pay my bills" and go to a "real bank." They can't be legit with this kind of customer service! BEWARE!!!
