This fake loan scammer posts on various websites offering cheap loans. The bottom line is that they will ask for an amount such as US$250 to be sent to Western Union to Nigeria. You would think that this would trigger alarm bells but sadly a friend of mine refused to believe me when I told her from the beginning that this was a scam, and she lost that small amount.
You can get the gist of how it works by reading the emails pasted below .... obviously 'Sally Green' and her details are fictitious!
